Urban Decay Ammo Palette Review + Swatches

Last week I placed an order through Sephora's website which included the Urban Decay Ammo palette for only $16 (originally $34!) and of course I took photos and swatched the shadows for you all.  The palette consists of 10 shimmer shades, a small Primer Potion, and a mini shadow brush.  The palette has a mediocre magnetic closure - definitely not very secure.  The shadows are very nice and pigmented (as you would expect from UD).  Three of these shades can be found in the Naked and Naked 2 palettes (Smog, Chopper, and Sin), but they are all beautiful and I can't wait to play around with these shades.

Naked Basics & Naked 2 Basics Review + Swatches

I recently picked up some a few things from Ulta and two of those things are the Naked Basics palette and the Naked 2 Basics palette.  The palettes are a bit smaller than I thought they would be, but the packaging is nice.  The closure is nice and secure.  (So much better than magnetic closures!)  As for the shadows, they are incredibly smooth.  I can't wait to dig into these and really play with them.  :)

Lorac Pro Palette Review + Swatches

I FINALLY got my hands on the Lorac Pro Palette!  I've been trying to purchase it, but it's always sold out at my local Ulta.  I found out recently that Ulta gets their new shipments in on Fridays, so I called and asked if they had any.  The very nice employee said that they did and kindly put one on hold for me.  :D
The packaging is the same as the Lorac Pro Palette 2 only in black.  Again, I've heard that they get messy very easily which is the only downfall.  On the upside, it comes with a sample size of Lorac's eyeshadow primer and the shadows are so creamy and smooth so I think it more than makes up for it.  Oh, there is one other *eh* bit.  The original Pro Palette and the Pro Palette 2 both have the exact same black shade.  I guess it's nice to have a black in each palette so that you don't have to reach for something else to complete a look, but I was a little disappointed that one of the colors is a duplicate.
