Beauty Products Haul

Hi, everyone! How was your weekend?

Here's everything I bought, was gifted, or was sent for review recently!

Redken Blondage Color Depositing Purple Shampoo

I received a gift card to Ulta for my birthday, so I ordered this since I was in need of a new purple shampoo. I've never tried this one before so hopefully it's good!

The Creme Shop x Hello Kitty Ready To Glow! Printed Essence Sheet Mask

I ordered this from Ulta as well. I love Hello Kitty and this was too cute to pass up.

Lancome Advanced Genifique Night Cream sample

This was the free birthday gift from Ulta this year. I feel like June always gets small gifts compared to other months? I've seen people who have birthdays in other months post their free gifts and sometimes they're full size products! This is tiny! I suspected this year's gift was going to be small again, but this is smaller than I was expecting. And then they charged me for it! $9.50 for this dinky thing! It literally said "free birthday gift" but they charged me for it for some reason? I had to contact their customer support for a refund. What a letdown!

Verb Feeling Fine Hydrate & Shine Kit

I also received a gift card to Sephora for my birthday, and when I saw this kit I knew I had to add it to my basket. I really like this line of shampoo and conditioner. This set also includes their Ghost Oil which I've never used before.

Ouai Birthday Gift

Sephora always has a few different birthday gifts to choose from, and this year I chose the gift from Ouai. It contains their Detox Shampoo mini, Leave-In Travel Conditioner mini, St. Bart's Body Cleanser mini, and the Melrose Place eau de parfum mini. I've used the leave-in conditioner before and it's nice, but the scent isn't the greatest. It's not bad necessarily, but it's not great either.

Concealer Sample Set

This was offered as a free gift with any order over $35 (I believe) and I'm currently in the market for a new concealer so this was perfect timing! It includes 10 different concealer samples as well as a mini Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and mini Laura Mercier setting powder.

ILNP Nail Polish in Evermore

I really love this brand of nail polish, and was given this as one of my birthday presents. Their holographic polishes are insane! This shade is stunning.

Revlon Dry & Shine Hair Dryer

My current hair dryer has been on the fritz lately, so I got this one to replace it. It works pretty well. I really want to get the Dyson hair dryer, but those are so expensive! I'll make do with this for now until I save up some extra money to buy the Dyson.

That's everything I got this time! Thank you for stopping by! I hope you have a great week!

New Beauty Products

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? We had my SIL's drive by baby shower at my house yesterday. It was sunny and beautiful all week last week and then it rained yesterday. *sigh* Aside from the rain, the baby shower was a success. Somehow though, my SIL didn't receive ANY baby clothes or baby blankets! I typically avoid those items since they're the items that are gifted the most. Apparently everyone else had the same thought, so I'm going out this weekend to buy a blanket and a bunch of baby clothes for her.

There's that! Now, here are the new products I've bought and received recently.

Verb Ghost Shampoo & Conditioner Set

I received two samples of these and I really liked them. I don't love the price, but my hair feels and looks so nice since I've been using these.

Color Street in Love Letters & Heart of the Matter

Somehow I didn't have any Valentine's Day sets?? So I ordered these two from my friend.

Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream sample

I've heard good things about this, but I wanted to try out a sample first before committing to purchasing the full size.

Buxom Power-Full Lip Scrub in Sweet Guava

I received this free from BzzAgent for review. This was a let down. It's very waxy and the scrubby bits are few and far between so it doesn't feel like it scrubs your lips at all. They also market this as "fruity" but there is almost no fruity scent at all. Save your money.

Color Street in My Lucky Charm and Wonder-Mint

I also realized that I didn't have any St. Patrick's Day sets so I made sure to get a couple in before the 17th.

I noticed that there were a lot of items on my Sephora wishlist that were on sale this month, so I ordered what was still in stock while they were on sale. There was one more product on sale that I wanted, but it was out of stock (and still is). The Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Metal Moon is regularly $38 but was on sale for only $12! It still shows it's on sale, so hopefully it comes back in stock and I can order it ASAP. Anyway, here's what I did get:

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Diamond Milk (Retail $20 on sale for $13)

I love these lip glosses, so of course I picked this one up since it was on sale.

KVD Beauty Everlasting Longwear Liquid Lipstick in Mother (Retail $21 on sale for $15)

I love these liquid lipsticks, but I don't like paying full price for them. lol

Violet Voss HG Pro Eyeshadow Palette (Retail $45 on sale for $31)

I've been wanting this palette for a while, but I couldn't get myself to actually order it. Since it was on sale, it was much easier for me to click "add to basket". The shades are beautiful and perfect for everyday looks.

One/Size Go Off Makeup Remover Wipes (Retail $15 on sale for $7.50)

These wipes are HUGE! I've been wanting to try them out so I figured picking them up while they were on sale was a good time to do so.

Disney Minnie Mouse Lip Balm

I saw this at Fred Meyer and couldn't pass it up because it was so cute.

Bare Minerals Maximist Liquid Eyeliner in Maximum Black

I received this complimentary from BzzAgent for review. This went on so easily and smooth. It's a really deep black which I prefer. The thin brush made closely lining my eyes and adding a small flick of a wing super easy to do. I would recommend this liner.

Revlon So Fierce! Eyes Wide Open Mascara and Ultra HD Snap! Nail Polish

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for review. I don't like either of these. The mascara wand is weirdly shaped and it clumped up my lashes pretty bad. The nail polish is not a color I would ever buy for myself and it was very streaky. I wouldn't recommend either of these.

That's everything new for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have an awesome week!

Beauty Haul

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been so far?  Things have been a bit crazy around here.  I had to have surgery at the beginning of May to have my gallbladder removed, and my husband just had knee surgery on Tuesday and will be on bed rest for at least the next 4 weeks.

On to the haul...I got a few things for my birthday at the beginning of the month.  This is all the makeup and beauty products that I received.  I'm pretty excited to try everything out!

NARS Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette

Sephora birthday gift - Briogeo Duo

Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer in Light

Wet N Wild Hello Halo in Highlight Bling

ILNP in Cherry Luxe

That's everything!  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!

Random Beauty, Sephora, & Bath & Body Works Haul

Hello, everybody!  Today is an exciting day here...it's my son's first birthday!  I can't believe how fast this year flew by.  He's almost walking!

Anyway, I have a bunch of new products that I've either purchased or have received free for review (I'll let you know which is which).  Almost everything that I received for free came from BzzAgent.  If you've heard of Influenster (which I've talked about a lot here on my blog), BzzAgent is similar.  They'll send you an email with a little questionnaire and determine if you are a good match for the product(s) being sent out.  If you do receive product(s) you just try them out and leave an honest review.  Let's get into the haul!

 L'Oreal Colorista Hair Makeup
This came from BA.  It's a wash-out dye.  I was concerned that this wouldn't even show up in my dark hair - things like this usually don't - but I was pleasantly surprised!  I could actually see it in my hair and it washed out easily.

Botanics All Bright Bi-Phase Facial Oil
This is also from BA.  My skin looks brighter and hydrated when I use this.  The price isn't bad either.  If I remember to do so, I'll be repurchasing this when I run out!

L'Oreal Infallible Matte Lip Crayon in Sweet & Salty
Also from BA.  It's matte but not uncomfortable.  It has a good smell too.

L'Oreal Matte Lip Stain in I Rule
(+ swatches of both lip products - L is lip crayon and R is lip stain)
Again, from BA.  This is okay.  The shade is really nice...until you wipe it off.  The stain is hot pink.  Definitely not something I'll be wearing.

Ofra Cosmetics Northern Lights Primer
This is also from BA.  I'm not sure how I feel about this.  It has small flecks on glitter in it (I'm not a fan of any base products containing glitter) but you can't see them once you apply foundation.  I don't think this made my makeup last longer than the primer I was already using.  Ultimately, this isn't something I'd repurchase.

Kerastase Relaxing Scalp Scrub
Another product from BA.  I only used this once.  It's not that it's bad or doesn't work, but it took a little while to rinse the scrubby bits out of my hair.  My hair isn't even that long and it was more work than I wanted from a shampoo.  Not to mention, this costs $50!  My husband has been using it though.  He has very short hair so it isn't as much of a chore for him to rinse it out.  He also has dry scalp and dandruff and it seems to be helping to hydrate his scalp.

Lancome Juicy Tubes
These also came from BA.  The first is in the shade Birthday Confetti and the second shade is Hallucination.  They're very sticky.  I love the colors, but damn, they're sticky.

Gold Bond Ultimate Neck & Chest Age Defense Cream SPF 20
This came in an Influenster box with a few other non-beauty products.  It sinks into the skin pretty quickly and doesn't feel sticky.  There is definitely an SPF smell to it, but it's not the worst.

Dermalogica Invisible Physical Defense SPF 30
Yet another product from BA.  I've been seeing Dermalogica products all over social media, but I haven't looked them up or tried them out because I was never really interested in them.  I do like this sunscreen though.  It is a little greasy, but it sinks into the skin after a little while and it looks fine under my makeup.  I will not be repurchasing this though.  I didn't realize this line was on the pricey side.  This is $54 for 1.7 oz of product.  I'm good with my Neutrogena sunscreen which is much cheaper.

Native Deodorant in Coconut & Vanilla
I wouldn't normally include hygiene products in hauls (because they're boring lol), but I also don't normally spend $12 on a single stick of deodorant.  I've been considering switching to an aluminum free deodorant, but I heard there is a transition stage where they don't cover up smells as well and I didn't want to deal with that.  However, since we're in quarantine, I can't think of a better time to try out new deodorants since I don't have to worry about anyone possibly smelling me (besides my husband, but whatever lol).  So far so good with this deodorant though!

~Sephora VIB sale haul~
Too Faced Diamond Light Fire Highlighter (LE)
I can't help it.  I'm a sucker for packaging.  Especially red packaging.  The highlight shade is STUNNING.  But if I'm honest, I mostly purchased this for the packaging.  lol

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
I've been wanting to try this for a while now because I have crazy dry lips no matter how much water I drink.  Here's hoping it's worth the money!

Ciate London x Jessica Rabbit Collection Compact Mirror
I love the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit, so I had to get my hands on the pieces in this collection.  I did wait for this to go on sale then also used my extra 15% off.  It's sturdy and heavy, but I hate the facial expression the used for Jessica Rabbit.

Slip Silk Pillowcase Skinny Scrunchies
These better be amazing.  $39 for 6 scrunchies is outrageous, but I'm so tired of my hair falling out with regular hair ties.

Kate Somerville EradiKate
I used some of my VIB points for this sample.  I like KS products but they're so spendy, so I prefer to test out free(ish) samples before I consider purchasing any full size products.

~Bath & Body Works haul~
I haven't been to a B&BW store in many, many years.  The only locations here are in the mall and I haven't been to the mall in AGES!  So I always forget that B&BW even exists.  I saw an ad for them online and I decided I was going to browse their website and place an order.  I totally forgot how much I loved some of their scents.  I had to stop myself from ordering everything.  lol!  They had their single wick candles on sale for 2/$20 and everything else I got was buy 3, get 2 free!

Japanese Cherry Blossom Fragrance Mist, Shower Gel, Body Cream, and Candle
I used to LOVE this scent!  As you can tell seeing as I bought nearly every product available in this scent.  It has been quite some time since I've smelled this and it is a bit sweeter than I recall.

Twilight Woods Fragrance Mist and Body Cream

Mahogany Teakwood Candle

That's all the new stuff I got recently!  Did you pick up anything during the Sephora VIB sale?

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a great weekend!
