2016 Product Empties Challenge Results

Hello, everyone!  How was your New Year's?

I wanted to write about the results of my 2016 product empties challenge.  Considering I didn't have a full year to complete this challenge (I found out about it in mid July), I think I did pretty well for my first time.  I finished off most of the products in my original list, but I also finished off some products that weren't in my list that I wanted to include in this post.  There are a few products from my original list that I decided to remove because I realized that I either wouldn't use them or wouldn't have enough time to use them.  Those products are the Pure Romance Glow shimmering body lotion (I'm not into shimmery lotions anymore so I gave it away), the St. Tropez self tanner (I've never self tanned before and I'm nervous to do it for the first time), the Victoria's Secret Very Sexy body spray, and the Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom body spray (I knew I couldn't finish them off in time).  If you want to see my post explaining my reason for doing this challenge and the products I wanted to finish this year, you can check it out here.
  
Original products:
(There are a few products that I finished off, but couldn't photograph because they were thrown away on accident.  Ugh.  They're the First Aid Beauty Blemish Control Pads, the L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara, and the Blinc mascara primer.)

Additional products:

There are 10 products from my original list that I wasn't able to finish off in time.  I took photos of them to show how much product I have left in each.  I'm going to be doing Project Empty again this year, so these products will be included in this year's challenge with the exception of the two Clinique lipsticks because I'm going to throw them away due to their age (plus I'm so over these two shades now).

And that's it for my 2016 Project Empties challenge!  I think this is a great way for those of us with more beauty products than we actually need to consciously use up products that we've been holding on to for too long.

I'm excited to do this again this year and to see how many products I can finally use up!
