New Beauty Haul

 Hello, everyone! How was your weekend?

I haven't purchased too much lately as I'm mostly trying to use up products instead of collecting them. However, sometimes I run out of things or find something interesting that I want to try. So here are the few new products I picked up recently.

Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Lotion

I've decided that I want to step away from scented body lotions, at least for a while. I use a ton of scented products in my day to day life (scented soaps, detergent, hair products, perfume, etc.) that I really don't feel the need to add to the scents with my body lotion. Long story short, I bought this lotion instead of something heavily scented.

Vertex Eyeliner Stencil

 

I rarely apply eyeliner these days, and as a result I'm not very good at doing it anymore. Haha! I want to try out this stencil and see if it really helps me out.

Maybelline Dream BB Fresh Skin Hydrating Beauty Balm

 

I am STILL on a mission to find my holy grail foundation! I haven't tried this before, so here's hoping it's good.

La Roche-Posay Hydrating Gentle Cleanser

 

I've heard a lot of great things about this brand, so I decided to branch out and give it a try. I was in need of a new cleanser, so this was an obvious choice for me.

 

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5

 

I'm not going to lie, TikTok made me buy this. I'm interested to see if it lives up to the hype.

Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale Haul

 Hello, everyone! How was your week?

I picked up some items from Bath & Body Works recently. I knowww I said I wouldn't purchase anymore body sprays until I used up some more perfume, but I bought these to use as gifts. I have a ton of women and girls in my family, so I figured I could add these in with birthday presents for the girly girls in my family throughout the year. I forgot to include a few wallflower refills in this post, but other than those here's everything I picked up during the sale!

Collective Bath & Body Works Haul

 Hello, everybody! How was your weekend?

 I meant to make this post a long, long time ago. If you saw my last post, you'll know that I had issues with my camera and couldn't take pictures for a while. A couple of these items are from last year's semi annual sale, and the rest are from the last 6/7-ish months.

Halloween 2023 Bloody Chalice

I bought this when it was on clearance. I liked it, but it was too expensive when it was full price. It's pretty sturdy and looks great on my mantle.

Leaves 3 Wick Candle

 

This I bought last year as well. I like this scent and it was on sale, so it was a no brainer.

Sensual Amber Wallflower

 

This is the last item I purchased last year. I wanted a warm fall scent and I didn't have one. This one fits the bill.

Lavender + Vanilla Hand Cream

 

This is what I decided to get with my free body care item voucher for my birthday. The scent is nice, and it's a great size to throw in my purse.

Wisteria Garden Hand Soap

 

This scent was so nice! I hate that it was limited edition. If anyone knows of a scent that is the same or similar, please let me know.

Mahogany Vanilla Hand Soap

 

I liked this scent as well. I'm glad this one is available all year round.

Pink Lavender and Espresso Single Wick Candle

 

I was a little hesitant to buy this, but the scent is actually really good. It's floral but it's warm and lightly coffee scented.

Pink Apple Punch Single Wick Candle

 

This one smells really sweet, but had very, very little scent when I burned it. Not worth it in my opinion.

Wicked Vanilla Woods Hand Soap

 

This scent is fine. I probably wouldn't buy it again, but I wouldn't be mad if I ended up with it.

Vampire Blood Hand Soap

 

This is the typical vampire blood scent. It's not bad, but it's a bit overrated.

3-Wick Candle Holder

 

I love this spooky skeleton candle holder! He glows in the dark too!

Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale Haul - 2023

 Hello, everyone! How was your holiday weekend?

The B&BW sale was going on recently, and you know I had to pick up a few things! I don't have a lot of fresh, spring and summer scents of candles, lotions, anything really, so I made a conscious effort to pick out spring/summer appropriate scents. Without further ado, here's what I picked out!

Pink Lilac & Vanilla 3 Wick Candle

This is a nice floral, but warm scent. It's not sickly sweet or overly floral. I'm excited to start burning this in my house.

Gold Glitter Pocketbac Holder

All of the pocketbac holders that I have are either Halloween or winter/Christmas designs (I've been using the wiener dog wearing a Santa hat on skis holder up until this point lol), so I decided to order a simple one that I can use anytime of the year.

Hand Creams in Pink Pineapple Sunrise and Bahamas

These smell incredible. I was able to get one of them for free as my birthday gift, so that's even better!

Ultimate Hydration Body Cream in Dark Kiss

I've never seen this scent before, and I'm glad I ordered it. It smells wonderful and I love the deep colors on the packaging. However, I realized I've got quite the stock pile of body creams from B&BW so I'm officially cutting myself off from buying any more (aside from the upcoming Halloween line...) until I use up some of what I have.

Mahogany Coconut Wallflower Refill

I already put this up in our small bathroom and it smells amazing!

Turtle & Snail Wallflower Plug In

I'm using this plug in in our small bathroom as well. The wallflowers that I have are (again) all Fall/Halloween or Christmas themed designs, so I needed something I could put out for the rest of the year. This turtle is adorable.

Mahogany Teakwood Body Spray

This was one of my husband's Father's Day gifts. He doesn't wear cologne or body sprays very often (mostly just on our date nights), but the one he currently has is almost gone. I really like this scent, it smells warm and musky.

Beauty Haul

Hello, everybody!  How was your holiday?  We celebrated 3 times...we had Christmas Eve at David's sister's house, then Christmas morning with my family at our house, then Christmas dinner with more of David's family at his grandparents' house.  Poor baby Noah was exhausted after so much activity!

Anyway, here are some products that I either received for Christmas or purchased myself recently.

Fenty Beauty Moroccan Spice eyeshadow palette

This one I purchased myself while it was on sale.  It's gorgeous and I can't wait to play around with it!

Ahava Dead Sea Water Mineral Hand Cream
This was a gift from my sister-in-law.  We both love this hand lotion, so she picked one up for me.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown
For David's side of the family we did a Secret Santa exchange instead of buying gifts for everyone, and David ended up drawing my name. He's not very good at hiding things, so I came across my name and list of things I liked on his desk.  (I wasn't snooping, it was laying out in plain sight. lol!)  The brow pencil and two sheet masks are from him.  Did I happen to mention to him that I just finished off my favorite beauty product and tell him the exact shade I needed?  Mayyyybe...

This was a gift from David's boss and his boss's girlfriend.  I'm super excited about this because I've been meaning to purchase products from this brand but I always forget to.  I can't wait for a pamper day!

Dr. Teal's Relax & Relief Set
One of the gifts from my mom was this bath set.  I love baths and soaking my feet in Epsom salt so this is perfect for me!

Summer Empties - 2018

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been so far?

Here are all of the products that I used up (that aren't part of my annual Project Empty Challenge) during the summer.  I actually have quite a few products this time around!  I feel like seasonal empties are definitely better for me than monthly empties.  I hate publishing a post with only 3 or 4 products.

Sephora Collection Pencil Eyeliner in Black
This was okay.  It faded from my waterline after a couple of hours but it didn't bleed or smudge.

Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask
I rarely use conditioner, but I decided to try this out since I've heard a lot of good reviews about this brand.  This made my hair feel soft and smooth.  I don't know if I'd purchase a full size of this though.  I've been using coconut oil for years and it does the same thing for my hair.

L'Oreal Revitalift Cicacream
This didn't do much for me.  (To be fair, I really don't have many fine lines or wrinkles that concern me.)  My skin did feel quite moisturized with this though.

Sunday Riley Martian Gel Toner
There was only enough product in this sample for one use, so I can't say how well this works over a period of time.  What I can say is this product has a strong and...unique smell.  I guess you could call it an "earthy" scent.  Whatever it is, I'm not a fan.  lol

Delectable Ultra Nourishing Hand Cream in Sweet Mint and Cream
This is a thick hand cream, but it sinks into the skin nicely.  My hands always felt incredibly soft after using this.  The scent is pretty strong, but I enjoyed it.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask
This was nice.  It made my skin soft and hydrated.  I'll probably go pick up the full size of this soon!

Marc Anthony Nourishing Argan Oil Conditioning Treatment
This was okay.  It didn't make my hair feel as nice as the Briogeo hair mask, but it still did its job.

Skin & Co. Whipped Cleansing Cream
I will not purchase a full size of this.  It worked alright as a cleanser, but it was really thick and I didn't feel like it was giving my skin a deep cleanse.  I also hated the smell of it.  I'm pretty sure it's the truffle scent, but I do not like it at all.

Bare Minerals Blemish Remedy Mattifying Prep Gel mini
This would work great for people with oily skin.  My skin is normal with a few dry patches, so it didn't fit my needs.

Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream
I like this eye cream.  My eye area looked hydrated and smooth after using this.  This is the first eye cream I've used that actually made my eye area look radiant and moisturized.  I'll definitely be picking up the full size of this soon!
