Influenster "Sweetheart" Voxbox Product Review

As a member of the Influenster team, I was one of the ones selected to participate in the "Sweetheart" Voxbox product review.  If you don't know about Influenster, here is a little exert straight from their "About" section of their website:

"Influenster is a free-to-join community of invited trendsetters who live to give opinions of products and experiences. Influenster creates links between brands and members to reward participation and influence future products."

My "Sweetheart" Voxbox included the following:

1 Olay Fresh Effects {Va-Va-Vivid!} Powered Contour Cleansing System
1 Olay Fresh Effects {Shine, Shine Go Away!} Shine Minimizing Cleanser
1 Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response {Serene Citrus} Antiperspirant
1 Skinnygirl Daily {Greek Yogurt Blueberry Crisp} On-The-Go Bar
1 Not Your Mother's {She's A Tease} Volumizing Hair Spray

Olay Fresh Effects:

I've been using this for about a week now and I love it!  The Shine Minimizing Cleanser leaves my skin soft and shine-free.  It even has a nice smell to it.  The Powered Contour Cleansing vibrating brush is amazing.  It left my skin feeling cleaner than I ever thought it could be.  Its triangular shape is perfect for getting in those hard to reach creases and contours.  The Olay Fresh Effects system claims to clean "400% better than basic cleansing".  So far, I'd have to agree with this.  Other cleansers I've used made my skin feel either too dry or too oily.  None of them have ever gotten rid of shine while still leaving my skin hydrated like this product does.  The cleansing brush retails for about $12.99 and the full size (5 oz.) bottle of the cleanser is another $6.99, but this really works for me and is definitely something I will keep using!

Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant:

The first thing I noticed when I used this was the "Serene Citrus" scent.  It's wonderful.  It smells clean and also feminine.  I applied some the morning before my Pilates class and I still smelled nice afterward.  It claims to be "4x more effective at protecting against stress-induced underarm wetness" than ordinary antiperspirant.  So far, it has held up to its word.  Compared to regular antiperspirants these are more expensive (7.99-9.99 each), but if stress sweat is something you're concerned about this will do the trick.

Skinnygirl Daily On-The-Go Bar:

These bars are natural and Kosher and claim to be "the guilt-free indulgence bar" at 180 calories per bar.  However, they do have 7g of fat and 210 mg of sodium per bar.  The flavor I received was Greek Yogurt Blueberry Crisp, which was very good.  But at $9.99 for a box of 5 bars ($2.00 per bar!)...it's not something I would personally buy.

Not Your Mother's Volumizing Hair Spray:

The smell is nice, but otherwise I was very disappointed with this.  I was really hoping that this volumizing hair spray would work because I hate how flat my hair is.  I applied exactly as the directions say to, and it made no improvement in my hair.  It was as flat as it always is.  I've had better results just by blow drying my hair upside down without any products.  I'm just glad I received this as a tester instead of making the mistake of purchasing the full size bottle for $6.00!

That's all for now!  Thanks for visiting my blog!

*I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.*
