Autumn Book Haul - 2025

 Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? Can you believe it's the end of the year already?!

Here are the books I received as gifts (aside from the first one). I'm still on a book buying ban, so this haul will be much smaller than usual.

Autumn Empties & Review - 2025

 Hello, everyone! Merry Christmas to all that celebrate! I hope your week is wonderful and magical. :)

Here are all the products I've used up over the last few months.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Brow Gel

This was fine. The brush was a little bigger than I'd like, but it did what it was supposed to do. 

The Brow Gal Brow Gel

 

I feel the same about this brow gel. It's fine, but nothing special. 

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm

 

This felt nice on my lips and smells so good! I don't know that it actually helped with my dry lips though.

 

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes

 

I've been using these for a long time. They're good for removing most makeup, but they don't take everything off. If you have any recommendations for makeup remover wipes, I'm all ears!

 

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Fresh

 

This smells nice and made my hair look clean and fresh. 

 

 

Peauamie Hyaluronic Acid Eye Mask

 

These felt nice under my eyes, but I have no idea if they actually did anything for me. 

 

Carmex Classic Lip Balm

 

I don't feel like this stuff really does anything to help with chapped lips. I've used it on and off for years and never saw a difference. For that, I won't ever repurchase this. 

 

O'Keeffe's Working Hands Night Treatment

 

This hand cream is very thick and greasy. It does seem to help with my dry, cracked skin though. I really like this brand of hand lotions and will very likely repurchase this in the near future. 

 

Redken All Soft Mega Hydramelt Treatment

 

I really, really like this stuff! I only use a small amount at a time, so this took forever to go through. Whenever I finally go through most of my hair care items and feel okay to purchase something, I'm going to start by repurchasing this product first. It smells amazing and makes my hair feel so soft!

 

 

That's all I was able to use up these last few months. I want to partake in Project Empty again for 2026. I've been going through my beauty products and choosing items to use up.

Ivory Body Soap

This was free for review from Influenster. This bottle is huge! It's scent free, so it's great for those who are sensitive to scents. 

Schick Hydro Silk

 

I needed new blades, and I haven't tried these before so I figured I'd give them a go. 

Cerave PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion

 

This was also free for review from Influenster. I like this moisturizer. It sinks into the skin pretty quick and keeps my skin feeling moisturized.

 

 

Perricone MD Corrective Brightening Under Eye Cream

 

Again, this was free for review from Influenster. I haven't noticed a difference after using this product for a few weeks. This is very pricey, so I don't think it's something I'll purchase when I run out.

 

Exuviance 3-in-1 Clarifying Cleanser

 

This was another free product for review from Influenster. This leaves my face feeling clean, but it's not anything special.

 

OGX ProGrowth + Peptide

 

I received this free from Influenster for review as well. I haven't seen any new growth while using this. It does smell really nice though and doesn't leave any residue in my hair.

New Beauty Products

 Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? Who's ready for Halloween?! I sure am! It's my favorite holiday. My oldest is so excited to wear his costume. He's going as "Doodle-Bob" from SpongeBob. He is so silly!

Here are all the new products that I've either received or purchased recently that I'm excited to try out. 

 Olay Super Serum Body Cream

This was free for review from Influenster. It's pretty thick and it makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated.

First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser

This was on sale at Sephora for half off! I love this cleanser, so of course I picked one up.  

Native Body Wash in Cucumber & Mint

This was also free from Influenster for review. It smells so fresh and clean. It seems to cleanse pretty well too.

The Ordinary Exfoliating Toner

 

I used up my last bottle, so I had to purchase another. For under $9.00, it's something I'll probably continue to repurchase. 

Valentino Spike Valentino Buttery Matte Lipstick in Nude Poeme

 

This was also free for review from Influenster. The formula isn't super drying on the lips which matte lipsticks can tend to be. The packaging is pretty heavy and sturdy. The lipstick component itself pops out and is replaceable.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Seeker Highlighter in Sun Idol

 

This was also on sale at Sephora. It was on my wishlist for a while, so when I saw it on sale I had to snag it. 

Layhomo Shea Butter Body Lotion

This product and the following two items were in a little gift bag that my husband received from work.
