New Beauty Products

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? Who's ready for Halloween?! I sure am! It's my favorite holiday. My oldest is so excited to wear his costume. He's going as "Doodle-Bob" from SpongeBob. He is so silly!

Here are all the new products that I've either received or purchased recently that I'm excited to try out.

 Olay Super Serum Body Cream

This was free for review from Influenster. It's pretty thick and it makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated.

First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser

This was on sale at Sephora for half off! I love this cleanser, so of course I picked one up.

Native Body Wash in Cucumber & Mint

This was also free from Influenster for review. It smells so fresh and clean. It seems to cleanse pretty well too.

The Ordinary Exfoliating Toner

I used up my last bottle, so I had to purchase another. For under $9.00, it's something I'll probably continue to repurchase.

Valentino Spike Valentino Buttery Matte Lipstick in Nude Poeme

This was also free for review from Influenster. The formula isn't super drying on the lips which matte lipsticks can tend to be. The packaging is pretty heavy and sturdy. The lipstick component itself pops out and is replaceable.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Seeker Highlighter in Sun Idol

This was also on sale at Sephora. It was on my wishlist for a while, so when I saw it on sale I had to snag it.

Layhomo Shea Butter Body Lotion

This product and the following two items were in a little gift bag that my husband received from work.

Peauamie Hyaluronic Acid Eye Mask

Chap-Ice Citrus Orange Lip Balm

That's everything for now! Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!

Winter Empties & Review - 2025

Hello, everybody! How was your weekend? I'm so happy that spring is finally here. I'm ready to get out in the sun and enjoy nature again. We weren't able to get out as much as we would've liked last spring/summer after I gave birth, so its been a long time since we were able to be outside.

Anyway, I have a lot of skincare products again this season. Here's everything I was able to use up recently!

Tony Moly I'm Rice Mask Sheet

I love Tony Moly masks, so it's no surprise that I enjoyed this mask.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown

This is my favorite brow pencil. I've tried other brands and they just don't compare for me.

L'Oreal Unbelievabrow Clear Brow Gel

This was fine. The brush was a little bit bigger than I would have liked.

Algenist Eye Renewal Balm

I didn't love this, but it wasn't horrible either. It didn't really sink into my skin as well as I would have liked, and was a little bit greasy.

Soap & Glory Face and Clarity Facial Wash

This was okay. Not my favorite though so I wouldn't repurchase this.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy

I love this brand, but this was awful. It didn't feel like it did anything to help my chapped lips, and the smell/taste is disgusting. The red tint looked nice though.

Bath & Body Works Enchanted Candy Potion

This scent was too strong. It was difficult to get through this lotion. I would not repurchase this scent again.

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

I like this cleanser, but not more than my First Aid Beauty cleanser.

Tree Hut Green Tea Shea Sugar Scrub

I like that these are inexpensive and come in a huge variety of scents.

Tony Moly I'm Aloe Mask Sheet

Again, I love these masks. Every one I've tried has been very hydrating.

It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream

I really like this moisturizer. I may even like it more than the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. This isn't as greasy as the FAB one, but it is slightly scented.

That's everything I used up this last season! Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Summer & Autumn Empties and Review - 2024

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? If you celebrate, are you all ready for Christmas? I have to finish wrapping some gifts, but then I'm done.

If you haven't read my other posts over the past few weeks, I had issues with my camera over the summer and wasn't able to take pictures and therefore upload posts. I eventually figured it out, so this empties post has products I used up over the summer and fall. Without further ado, here's everything I used up over the last 6 months!

Tony Moly I'm Pearl Mask Sheet

I love these sheet masks. They're inexpensive but super hydrating.

Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment

This was fine. This brand is fairly expensive though, so I can't say it's worth the price.

Tula Skincare Probiotics & Superfoods 24/7 Moisture

This was very hydrating and felt great on my skin. So far, I've really enjoyed everything I've tried from this brand.

Gold Bond Ultimate Neck & Chest Age Defense Cream

I don't know about this. It's specifically for the neck and chest, and it seems like just an extra unnecessary step/product in my already jam packed routine. I'd rather just use whatever SPF I'm currently using on my face instead of pulling out ANOTHER product for a small area of my body.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads

I really like these pads. They help make my skin feel soft and clean.

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer

This is okay. I'll continue to use any free samples I receive of this, but I won't go out of my way to purchase it.

Ole Henriksen Dewtopia 20% Acid Night Treatment

I really like this treatment. It brightens my skin and makes it feel incredible.

Lancome Advanced Genefique Repairing Night Cream

I do like this, but it's not remarkable. I'd rather buy a cheaper option like the First Aid Beauty and get the same results.

First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer

Ehh, this is one of the only FAB products I don't love. It's fine, but I'd rather just use their regular moisturizer.

First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub

This felt like it was going to give me actual results. Unfortunately, this didn't get rid of my KP at all. I'm super bummed this didn't work out for me.

Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss Ultimate Hydration Body Cream

This smelled really nice, and was hydrating. I'm trying not to purchase anymore Bath & Body Works lotions though. I've decided to only use fragrance free body lotions from now on. There is fragrance is so many other products in my beauty routine, and I don't want to be overly scented anymore.

First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser

I love this cleanser. My skin always feels so clean when I use this.

Sephora Smooth + Blur Primer

This felt nice on my skin, but made all of my foundations look like crap on my face.

Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser Scrub

This isn't something I would purchase again. It doesn't do anything to clear up blackheads.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mini Mascara

This mascara is okay. It's not my favorite, but I'll use it when I get samples.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes

I feel like this doesn't need any explanation.

Lanolips 101 Ointment in Multi-Balm Strawberry

I really liked this! It was super hydrating and made my lips feel so soft. I would absolutely buy this again.

That's all for now! Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a magical Christmas!

Spring Empties and Review - 2024

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? It's been a bit crazy around here. I gave birth to my second baby 4 weeks early, and we had to spend about 2 weeks in the pediatric wing of the hospital because he needed to be tube fed for a little while. Baby boy is doing awesome now, so thank goodness for that!

On to what you're actually here for. Here's everything I used up recently.

Palmer's Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks

These were samples from free baby boxes, and my pregnant self was very thankful for them! They smell nice, and the lotion feels super hydrating.

Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer

This was fine. I like to keep small hand lotions/creams in my purse and this fit the bill. I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it does its job.

First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser

You all know by now that I love pretty much anything from this brand. I've repurchased this specific cleanser so many times I've lost count.

Vichy Mineral 89

I wasn't a fan of this moisturizer. It's a gel consistency which isn't my favorite. I don't feel like they hydrate as well as a cream. This isn't something I'd purchase.

Kiehl's Ultra Face Cream

This moisturizer is really nice though! It's a thick cream that sinks into the skin and keeps my face feeling hydrated and soft all day.

Kate Somerville EradiKate

I didn't notice any difference in my skin with this. For the price of the full size, I'd expect to see some results. Since this didn't have any effect on my skin, I can't see myself purchasing this product.

Tony Moly I'm Tea Tree Mask Sheet

I love these Tony Moly masks. I've tried a bunch of different formulas and I've loved pretty much all of them. This is one of the ones I like. It's hydrating and cooling, which feels amazing during the summer.

That's everything for now. I don't have as many products this time around since I gave birth early and had to stay with my baby in the hospital for a bit. Hopefully I'll be able to use up more products this season!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you have a fantastic week!
