Autumn Empties & Review - 2025

Hello, everyone! Merry Christmas to all that celebrate! I hope your week is wonderful and magical. :)

Here are all the products I've used up over the last few months.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Brow Gel

This was fine. The brush was a little bigger than I'd like, but it did what it was supposed to do.

The Brow Gal Brow Gel

I feel the same about this brow gel. It's fine, but nothing special.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm

This felt nice on my lips and smells so good! I don't know that it actually helped with my dry lips though.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes

I've been using these for a long time. They're good for removing most makeup, but they don't take everything off. If you have any recommendations for makeup remover wipes, I'm all ears!

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Fresh

This smells nice and made my hair look clean and fresh.

Peauamie Hyaluronic Acid Eye Mask

These felt nice under my eyes, but I have no idea if they actually did anything for me.

Carmex Classic Lip Balm

I don't feel like this stuff really does anything to help with chapped lips. I've used it on and off for years and never saw a difference. For that, I won't ever repurchase this.

O'Keeffe's Working Hands Night Treatment

This hand cream is very thick and greasy. It does seem to help with my dry, cracked skin though. I really like this brand of hand lotions and will very likely repurchase this in the near future.

Redken All Soft Mega Hydramelt Treatment

I really, really like this stuff! I only use a small amount at a time, so this took forever to go through. Whenever I finally go through most of my hair care items and feel okay to purchase something, I'm going to start by repurchasing this product first. It smells amazing and makes my hair feel so soft!

That's all I was able to use up these last few months. I want to partake in Project Empty again for 2026. I've been going through my beauty products and choosing items to use up.

I hope you have a wonderful New Year's! Thank you for stopping by!

New Beauty Products

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend?

Here are all the new beauty products I've been trying out.

Lancome La Vie Est Belle Oui 1.7 oz ($102)

I received this free for review from BzzAgent. The scent is nice, and I'm given a lot of compliments when I wear it.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Brow Gel ($9.99)

This was also sent to me from BzzAgent. This is okay. I don't think it keeps my brow hairs in place better than my ABH brow gel, but the brush on this one is nice. I don't think I'd replace my favorite ABH brow gel for this though.

Lancome Idole Lash Lifting Volumizing Mascara ($27)

Once again, this was sent to me from BzzAgent. I received this same mascara from BzzAgent before, but it was the sample size. I really like this mascara, so I was thrilled to receive the full size of this.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid 1.7 oz ($100)

I received this from Influenster for review. I've heard amazing things about this moisturizer, so I was delighted to see that I was going to be testing this. I do think the price is quite steep.

Color Street Nail Polish Wraps

My friend has decided she isn't going to be selling CS anymore, so she was having a "Going Out Of Business" sale. The deal was B3G1 free when you ordered from the website and then choose an additional 3 from my friend's inventory for free. So purchase 3 and get 4 free. The first set are the 4 that I ordered online and the second set are the 3 that I chose from my friend's inventory.

Picture 1 top to bottom: Gaelic Greenery, Holidaze, How Do You Hue?, and Plaid's All Folks.
Picture 2 top to bottom: Good Girls Gone Plaid, Cherry-Picked, and
Into The Cosmos.

Eva NYC Tone It Down Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for review. I've never tried a purple shampoo and conditioner before, so I was ecstatic to find out I was receiving these! The price isn't bad (under $15.00 each), and they're made from recyclable tin. I've only used these a couple of times, so I haven't noticed any change in the tone of my hair color yet.

The next three products are the items I purchased during the Sephora VIB sale.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown

I ran out of this, so I needed to pick up a new one. I'm currently using the ABH Brow Definer, but I don't know if I like it. It's triangle shaped and thicker than the Brow Wiz, so I'm still learning how to apply it.

Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner

I keep hearing great things about this brush cleaner, so I finally ordered it. We'll see if it works wonders like everyone claims it does.

GXVE Eye See In Color Eyeshadow Quad in Simple Kind Of Life

I was quite excited to see Gwen Stefani come out with a makeup collection, so I ordered one of the eyeshadow quads. The shades in this quad are a bit boring, but they're great everyday neutrals. Not gonna lie, I kinda hate the cardboard inside the plastic casing. The cardboard packaging that it comes in is great, but I feel like the design for the actual case (second picture) looks cheap.

That's everything new for now! Have you tried any of these products out? What are your thoughts on them?

Thank you for stopping by! Have a fantastic week!

New Beauty Products

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been?  Mine has been busy and hectic.  My son's second birthday is tomorrow *cries* and I've been preparing for his party on Sunday.  It's crazy how fast these two years have flown by!

Anyway!  Here are all of the new products I've been trying out!

Lancome La Vie Est Belle Soleil Cristal L'Eau De Parfum - $100.00

This was sent to me from BzzAgent.  The bottle is beautiful.  It's hard to see in the photo, but it's iridescent.  I really like the scent of this too.  It's fresh and fruity, and a little goes a long way.  I only use one spray, anything more is overpowering.

Amika Hair Straightener
My SIL gave this to me since she wasn't using it.  It came in a FabFitFun box.  The straightener that I have is a mini, travel size and it's not rounded like this one.  I'll be giving away my old one since I prefer rounded straighteners (so I can also curl my hair with it).

Lancome Clarifique Refining Brightening Dual Essence - $95.00
This is another product to review from BzzAgent.  It sinks into the skin quickly, and it seems to make my serums work better.  The bottle is huge, so you get quite a bit of product.  The price tag is also huge.

Color Street Nail Polish Strips in Sakura Festival and Dark Magic - $13.00 each
I've actually been using Color Street for a year now, but I always forget to add them into my beauty hauls.  These two are unfortunately retired designs, but my friend sells CS so she was able to track them down.  I love that they're super easy to apply and you don't have to wait for them to dry.  The directions say that you don't need to apply a base coat or a top coat, but I've noticed that when I don't at least use a top coat they chip fairly quickly.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Lip Tint in Pink-ture Perfect $9.99
Again, this is from BzzAgent.  The formula is thin and not at all sticky.  This shade is very light, so light that I don't really notice any color on my lips at all.  I don't think this is worth $10.  Maybe if it was in a different shade (one that actually shows up) that would be a different story.  But as for this shade specifically, you might as well wear a regular chapstick.

Marc Jacobs Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator in Spotlight - $29.00
I picked this up during the Sephora VIB sale recently.  I've been eyeing it since it came out, but I couldn't seem to get myself to shell out $42.00 for it.  However, it was on sale and I had the additional 15% off discount, so I finally got it!

Becca Cosmetics Sunlit Bronzer in Bali Sands - $38.00
This is also from Sephora.  I was deeply saddened to hear that Becca is going out of business.  I really love their highlighters, so I figured I better order the products I love/want to try out while I can.  I haven't tried this bronzer before, but I've heard great things about it.  I can't wait to wear it!

Sunday Riley A+ High-Dose Retnoid Serum
This was a 100 point sample from Sephora.  Sunday Riley is very expensive, so I like to try out deluxe samples of their products first to see if I will like them.  I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but I'll come back to leave an update.

That's everything for now!  Thank you so much for stopping by!

New Beauty Products

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been?  Its been crazy here in Oregon.  We had terrible wildfires that thankfully didn't get too close to us, but its been very smoky here and the air quality has been hazardous.  And tonight we're supposed to have severe storm weather.  I don't even know what to say about 2020 anymore.

Anyway!  I've received and bought some new products that I wanted to show you.

BeautyCounter Counter+ All Bright Serum

This came from Influenster.  I like this serum.  It's lightweight and makes my skin feel soft and smooth.  The scent isn't bad either.  It is a bit pricey though at $79.00.

BeautyCounter Counter+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel

This is also from Influenster.  Again, this formula is lightweight, but I didn't notice a difference in my skin with this.  And at $63.00, this isn't something I would repurchase.

Kerastase Huile de Parfum sample

I received this from BzzAgent and it came as two samples.  This is a hair perfume oil.  The oil is lightweight and won't make your hair look greasy if you use a small amount (which is all you need anyway).  It smells nice, but it doesn't last for more than an hour or two.  I usually just spray whichever perfume I'm wearing in my hair as it's faster and easier.  Not to mention, the full size of this is $72.00 which I don't think is worth it.

Tony Moly I'm Lavender Lullaby Sleeping Mask

This I also received from BzzAgent.  It obviously smells like lavender but it's not super strong and overpowering.  This felt great on my skin, but I don't know that it did very much for me.

Tony Moly Panda's Dream Rose Hyaluronic Face Cream samples

I received these with the TM mask.  This cream is nice, but not nice enough for me to switch out my favorite moisturizer.

Wet Brush x Disney Princess - Ariel

I've heard people raving about Wet brushes for so long but I always thought it was a gimicky product.  I really like the Disney princess brushes though so I broke down and bought one.  This actually works!  It didn't pull on my wet hair at all.  I might go buy the rest of the Disney princess collection.  lol

L'Oreal True Match Eye Cream in a Concealer

I received this from BzzAgent and I chose the lightest shade in the neutral undertones and this is a bit too dark for me.  It's lightweight and I wouldn't call this full coverage.  This creased on me SO BAD.  Even after setting with a powder I was a creasy cakey mess.  I won't be repurchasing this.

Lancome Absolue Repairing Bi-Ampoule

This is another product sent to me from BzzAgent.  This serum is SO NICE.  It's lightweight and a little goes a long way.  I noticed a difference in my skin instantly.  My face felt softer and smoother, but also firmer.  The only thing I hate about this is the price.  This retails for $150.00 for only .4 oz of product.  I wouldn't be able to justify repurchasing this especially now that I have a child.  I would feel so guilty spending so much money on a serum.

Covergirl Clean Liquid Foundation

I'm still trying out foundations to find my holy grail.  I decided to pick this up from Walmart last week.  I used to use a foundation from Covergirl in high school (I think it was this one but the bottle has been changed?) and I wanted to try it out again to see how it looks on me now.

That's everything for now!  Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a great week!
