Autumn Empties & Review - 2025

Hello, everyone! Merry Christmas to all that celebrate! I hope your week is wonderful and magical. :)

Here are all the products I've used up over the last few months.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Brow Gel

This was fine. The brush was a little bigger than I'd like, but it did what it was supposed to do.

The Brow Gal Brow Gel

I feel the same about this brow gel. It's fine, but nothing special.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm

This felt nice on my lips and smells so good! I don't know that it actually helped with my dry lips though.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes

I've been using these for a long time. They're good for removing most makeup, but they don't take everything off. If you have any recommendations for makeup remover wipes, I'm all ears!

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Fresh

This smells nice and made my hair look clean and fresh.

Peauamie Hyaluronic Acid Eye Mask

These felt nice under my eyes, but I have no idea if they actually did anything for me.

Carmex Classic Lip Balm

I don't feel like this stuff really does anything to help with chapped lips. I've used it on and off for years and never saw a difference. For that, I won't ever repurchase this.

O'Keeffe's Working Hands Night Treatment

This hand cream is very thick and greasy. It does seem to help with my dry, cracked skin though. I really like this brand of hand lotions and will very likely repurchase this in the near future.

Redken All Soft Mega Hydramelt Treatment

I really, really like this stuff! I only use a small amount at a time, so this took forever to go through. Whenever I finally go through most of my hair care items and feel okay to purchase something, I'm going to start by repurchasing this product first. It smells amazing and makes my hair feel so soft!

That's all I was able to use up these last few months. I want to partake in Project Empty again for 2026. I've been going through my beauty products and choosing items to use up.

I hope you have a wonderful New Year's! Thank you for stopping by!

My Makeup Collection 2018: Brow Products

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

I have all of my brow products to show you for this week's MMC.  It isn't an exciting post since I currently only have two brow pencils and two clear brow gels.  I don't really see the point in having a ton of brow products when I already know what I like/what works best for me.  I do have a brown powder that I occasionally use, but it isn't a "brow" powder it's just a shadow in a NYX palette.

Brow Pencils: Winky Lux Uni-Brow and Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown

Clear Brow Gel: The BrowGal by Tonya Crooks and Anastasia Beverly Hills

What are some of your favorite brow products?

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a great week!

My Makeup Collection: Brow Products

Hello, everyone and happy Memorial Day!  I hope you had an amazing holiday weekend!

This week, I'll be showing you all of my brow products.  I'm always looking to try new brow products.  I was very tweezer-happy as a teenager, and I plucked most of my eyebrows off.  I had a paper thin line of brow hair.  It was not cute.  I've been growing out my eyebrows lately, but because of what I did to myself as a teenager, I have some sparse areas in my brows that don't seem to want to grow back.  *cries*

Thank goodness for all these brow products on the market now!  I used to use a black eyeliner pencil to fill in my brows (also not cute!) or a very dark brown eyeshadow.

Anastasia Beverly Hills - Clear Brow Gel & Brow Wiz in Dark Brown
*ABH is my favorite brand for brow products!  The clear brow gel is like cement for your eyebrows.  The Brow Wiz has a spooly brush on one end and a fine tipped pencil on the other.*

Smashbox - Brow Tech Gloss Stick in Brunette
*This is okay.  I don't like that it's glossy/shiny though.  They sell a matte version of this product which is probably better.*

Benefit Cosmetics - High Brow & Gimme Brow in Medium/Dark
*I really like High Brow for under my eyebrows.  The Gimme Brow is pretty good.  I don't feel like it's something I "need" though.*

Kat Von D Beauty - Tattoo Brow in Medium Brown
*I absolutely do not use this to fill in my eyebrows!  I tried it once, and it was awful!  Honestly the worst eyebrow day I've ever had.  I feel as though you have to be incredibly skilled with this product to use it on your brows.  I use this as an eyeliner.*

The Brow Gal - Clear Brow Gel
*I got this in this month's Boxycharm, so I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.*

Wet N Wild - Coloricon Brow Pencil
*I just bought this one about a week ago.  It's pretty good for only being $1.99, but it's a little bit too warm toned for my brows.*

And those are the brow products that I have right now.  I'd like to try the ABH Dipbrow one day, but I'm afraid of it looking too heavy and fake on me.  A lot of people swear by it though.

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope you have a great week!

May 2016 Boxycharm Unboxing

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been?

Today I have my May Boxycharm unboxing to share with you.  This month we received six full size products!  I really like everything in this month's box.  There are four makeup items, one fragrance, and one nail polish.  I like that there is variety in this box and it isn't only makeup.  (I'm an all around beauty junkie!)

First up is the Pur Cosmetics Double Ego-Duo Ended Eyeliner in the shade Swiss Alps.  One side is a pencil tip and the other side is a liquid liner.  This retails for $21.00.

Makeup Geek Blush in the shade XOXO.  The blush is finely milled and smooth.  This retails for $15.00.

Ella + Mila Nail Polish in the shade Pistache.  It's such a pretty mint shade.  These are vegan and cruelty free.  They retail for $10.50.

The Brow Gal clear brow gel.  It's waterproof.  This brow gel retails for $20.00.

Starlooks Luxe lip liner in the shade Charmed.  I believe this shade is a special collaboration with Boxycharm.  It's much brighter than I expected based on the shade of  the packaging.  It's very pretty though!  I love that it's a retractable pencil.  This is budge-proof!  I had a bit of trouble removing the swatch from the back of my hand with a makeup remover wipe.  This retails for $19.50.

Catherine Malandrino Romance de Provence deluxe mini sprayer.  This retails for $20.00 for 10 ml.  I like the scent (it's floral with a bit of fruitiness) but it's very strong.  I'm not good at describing scents, but the notes are jasmine, rose, violet, vanilla, patchouli, and tonka bean.

So that's everything inside my May Boxycharm box!  Are you subscribed to Boxycharm?  What did you receive in yours?

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope you have a nice weekend!
