Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette Review + Swatches

I finally picked up the UD x Gwen eyeshadow palette this week.  I knew it would go on sale eventually and it did.  It's originally $58, but was is on sale at Ulta and Sephora for $39.  I purchased mine at Ulta because I also had my $10 off any purchase coupon for my birthday and I used $3 in rewards which brought it down to only $26!  Talk about a steal!

The design for this palette is really cool.  I really like black, white, and gold together.  It's simple, but bold at the same time.  (If that makes any sense! lol)  This palette has a ton of amazing neutral shades as well as a few pops of color.  Danger (the blue shade) is so beautiful!  I can't wait to use it.  Most of the shadows are smooth and creamy, but there are a few that are a bit disappointing.  The shades Punk, Anaheim, and Blackout are a bit patchy.  I had to go over them a few times to swatch them.  Then there's the shade Pop.  It is a beautiful color, but it's soooo chunky.  Harajuku was also a little chunky (a lot less than Pop though) and stiff.  All of the other shades though are incredible!

This palette also comes with four lipstick samples from this collection.  I already have the full size Rock Steady lipstick, but I don't have any of the other sample shades.

Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Collection Review + Swatches

Hello, everyone!  I hope you're having a great week so far!

This limited edition collection from Urban Decay has been out for a while now, but I just recently got my hands on some pieces.  Sephora and Ulta had everything except for the eyeshadow palette on sale last month, so I picked up the blush palette and two lipsticks from Sephora during the 15% off sale.  (Woohoo for sale + discount!)

The blush palette was originally $45 on sale for $30, and my 15% off took it down to $25.50.  It has four blushes, one highlight, and one bronzer.  The lipsticks were originally $18 each on sale for $12 each, and my discount brought them down to $10.20 each.  The two lipsticks that I picked up are in the shades Rock Steady and Spiderweb.  I wanted the shade Ex-Girlfriend but that one sold out so fast.  I didn't pick up any lip liners because I don't really use them and I have similar shades in my collection already, but they were originally $20 each on sale for $14 each (Ulta had them on sale for $13 each though).  I also didn't pick up the brow palette because it's basically only for people who are blonde, but if you're interested, it was originally $30 on sale for $15.
