New Beauty Products

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend?

Here are all the new beauty products I've been trying out.

Lancome La Vie Est Belle Oui 1.7 oz ($102)

I received this free for review from BzzAgent. The scent is nice, and I'm given a lot of compliments when I wear it.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Brow Gel ($9.99)

This was also sent to me from BzzAgent. This is okay. I don't think it keeps my brow hairs in place better than my ABH brow gel, but the brush on this one is nice. I don't think I'd replace my favorite ABH brow gel for this though.

Lancome Idole Lash Lifting Volumizing Mascara ($27)

Once again, this was sent to me from BzzAgent. I received this same mascara from BzzAgent before, but it was the sample size. I really like this mascara, so I was thrilled to receive the full size of this.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid 1.7 oz ($100)

I received this from Influenster for review. I've heard amazing things about this moisturizer, so I was delighted to see that I was going to be testing this. I do think the price is quite steep.

Color Street Nail Polish Wraps

My friend has decided she isn't going to be selling CS anymore, so she was having a "Going Out Of Business" sale. The deal was B3G1 free when you ordered from the website and then choose an additional 3 from my friend's inventory for free. So purchase 3 and get 4 free. The first set are the 4 that I ordered online and the second set are the 3 that I chose from my friend's inventory.

Picture 1 top to bottom: Gaelic Greenery, Holidaze, How Do You Hue?, and Plaid's All Folks.
Picture 2 top to bottom: Good Girls Gone Plaid, Cherry-Picked, and
Into The Cosmos.

Eva NYC Tone It Down Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for review. I've never tried a purple shampoo and conditioner before, so I was ecstatic to find out I was receiving these! The price isn't bad (under $15.00 each), and they're made from recyclable tin. I've only used these a couple of times, so I haven't noticed any change in the tone of my hair color yet.

The next three products are the items I purchased during the Sephora VIB sale.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown

I ran out of this, so I needed to pick up a new one. I'm currently using the ABH Brow Definer, but I don't know if I like it. It's triangle shaped and thicker than the Brow Wiz, so I'm still learning how to apply it.

Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner

I keep hearing great things about this brush cleaner, so I finally ordered it. We'll see if it works wonders like everyone claims it does.

GXVE Eye See In Color Eyeshadow Quad in Simple Kind Of Life

I was quite excited to see Gwen Stefani come out with a makeup collection, so I ordered one of the eyeshadow quads. The shades in this quad are a bit boring, but they're great everyday neutrals. Not gonna lie, I kinda hate the cardboard inside the plastic casing. The cardboard packaging that it comes in is great, but I feel like the design for the actual case (second picture) looks cheap.

That's everything new for now! Have you tried any of these products out? What are your thoughts on them?

Thank you for stopping by! Have a fantastic week!

Beauty Haul

Hey, everybody! How was your Thanksgiving? This past weekend was my first weekend off since I started my job back in August. When I was hired I was scheduled to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My husband has the opposite schedule. He works Tuesday-Friday. I was finally able to switch my days, so now I work Wednesday-Friday! I'm so happy to finally be able to spend some quality time with my husband and the three of us together as a family (especially this time of year!), so that was the number 1 thing I was thankful for. I also had Thanksgiving off so we were able to spend the holiday together with our family.

Onto the good stuff! Here are all the new beauty products I've picked up recently.

Colorstreet Nail Polish Strips

One of my friends sells Colorstreet and she had an offer for "buy 3 get 4 free". When you order from the website they always offer B3G1, so in addition to that she send me another 3 from her stash. The first picture is my B3G1 order from the website (t-b Cran-tastic, Light the Night, Winter Bow-mance, and Ring It In). The second picture is another set that I bought along with the 3 extra free sets (t-b Wrap It Up, Sakura Festival - my faaaavorite!, Wine Down, and Good Impressions). The last picture is 3 more sets that I bought from my friend when I looked through her stash (t-b Boo Crew, Bats Amore, and Salute To You). Lol it really is an addiction!

Soap & Glory Clean On Me

I really like this body wash, so when I used up my last body wash I decided to go back to using this one.

Juvia's Place i-Scult, i-Shade Brow Gel in Medium Brown

This was sent to me for free from BzzAgent. I like this brow gel except that the shade is pretty light. I think this is more of a light brown. I always use medium brown brow products and this is much lighter than any other medium brown product that I've used. I also don't think it held my brows in place as well as other brow gels that I've used.

Softlips x Hello Kitty Lip Balm Holiday Set

I saw this at Target and couldn't resist it. I love Hello Kitty, and the scents sounded interesting.

Shu Uemura Wata Wave Dry Finishing Spray

This is another freebie from BzzAgent. I don't like it. I didn't notice any texture difference in my hair, and this left a sticky residue. This is a no for me.

ILNP in Salem

This was part of my anniversary present from my husband. I love the holographic nail polishes from this brand. This is a black base with green glitter that reflects purple. It's stunning!

That's everything for now!  Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful week!

New Beauty Products

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been?  Mine has been busy and hectic.  My son's second birthday is tomorrow *cries* and I've been preparing for his party on Sunday.  It's crazy how fast these two years have flown by!

Anyway!  Here are all of the new products I've been trying out!

Lancome La Vie Est Belle Soleil Cristal L'Eau De Parfum - $100.00

This was sent to me from BzzAgent.  The bottle is beautiful.  It's hard to see in the photo, but it's iridescent.  I really like the scent of this too.  It's fresh and fruity, and a little goes a long way.  I only use one spray, anything more is overpowering.

Amika Hair Straightener
My SIL gave this to me since she wasn't using it.  It came in a FabFitFun box.  The straightener that I have is a mini, travel size and it's not rounded like this one.  I'll be giving away my old one since I prefer rounded straighteners (so I can also curl my hair with it).

Lancome Clarifique Refining Brightening Dual Essence - $95.00
This is another product to review from BzzAgent.  It sinks into the skin quickly, and it seems to make my serums work better.  The bottle is huge, so you get quite a bit of product.  The price tag is also huge.

Color Street Nail Polish Strips in Sakura Festival and Dark Magic - $13.00 each
I've actually been using Color Street for a year now, but I always forget to add them into my beauty hauls.  These two are unfortunately retired designs, but my friend sells CS so she was able to track them down.  I love that they're super easy to apply and you don't have to wait for them to dry.  The directions say that you don't need to apply a base coat or a top coat, but I've noticed that when I don't at least use a top coat they chip fairly quickly.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Lip Tint in Pink-ture Perfect $9.99
Again, this is from BzzAgent.  The formula is thin and not at all sticky.  This shade is very light, so light that I don't really notice any color on my lips at all.  I don't think this is worth $10.  Maybe if it was in a different shade (one that actually shows up) that would be a different story.  But as for this shade specifically, you might as well wear a regular chapstick.

Marc Jacobs Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator in Spotlight - $29.00
I picked this up during the Sephora VIB sale recently.  I've been eyeing it since it came out, but I couldn't seem to get myself to shell out $42.00 for it.  However, it was on sale and I had the additional 15% off discount, so I finally got it!

Becca Cosmetics Sunlit Bronzer in Bali Sands - $38.00
This is also from Sephora.  I was deeply saddened to hear that Becca is going out of business.  I really love their highlighters, so I figured I better order the products I love/want to try out while I can.  I haven't tried this bronzer before, but I've heard great things about it.  I can't wait to wear it!

Sunday Riley A+ High-Dose Retnoid Serum
This was a 100 point sample from Sephora.  Sunday Riley is very expensive, so I like to try out deluxe samples of their products first to see if I will like them.  I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but I'll come back to leave an update.

That's everything for now!  Thank you so much for stopping by!
