Spring Empties & Review - 2026

 Hello, everyone! How was your weekend?

I'm actually so proud to say that I finished a chapstick recently! I have sooo many, and I'm really trying to get through them. Anyway, here's everything I used up lately! (A lot of misses for me this time.)

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream

This was free from Influenster. I liked this because it was thick and it moisturized my skin really well, but for the price I would never repurchase this. 

Well People Mascara

 

I wasn't a big fan of this. It clumped up my lashes pretty bad, so I always had to use a lash separator with it. 

Lancome Cils Booster XL Mascara Primer

 

I think I just don't like mascara primers in general. It feels like an unnecessary extra step and they always make my lashes look thick in a bad, clumpy way. 

Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Lavender & Vanilla Body Butter

 

This feels so greasy and thick. The smells is also SO strong. I wouldn't repurchase this. 

Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Lavender & Vanilla Shower Steamers

 

I wouldn't repurchase this either, but not because of the scent. These last for about 20 seconds in the shower. I don't place them directly in the water, and they still vanish so fast. 

PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash

 

This is my second face wash from this brand, and I didn't like either one of them. The smell is so chemical-y and strong and it didn't feel or look like it helped in any way. 

Bath & Body Works Gingham Gorgeous Body Cream

 

This smells really good! I would absolutely repurchase this scent. 

Flower Knows Makeup Remover Wipe Sample

 

This little towelette is thick and removed almost all of my makeup! It is scented but the smell is nice. 

Pantene Abundant & Strong Scalp & Root Serum

 

I really, really like this product! It has helped with my shedding a lot. It also tingles and has a cooling sensation when you apply it which I like. I've already repurchased this. 

The Creme Shop x Hello Kitty Apple of My Eye Patches

 

These were fine. I like wearing eye patches even though they don't seem to do much for me. 

Chapstick Pumpkin Pie

 

I used this everyday at work for the last few months and I finally got through it! I'm so ready to use something that isn't pumpkin pie scented.

Winter Empties & Review - 2026

 Hello, everyone! How was your weekend?

Can you believe it's the end of March already?! This year is flying by so fast already. I'm already planning my sons' birthday parties. Here are all the products I was able to use up this past season.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation Deluxe Sample

I liked this foundation a lot. It matched my skin tone perfectly, and it looked great all day without sinking into my fine lines and pores. Whenever I finally run out of foundation, I'll likely purchase this one.

Olay Super Serum Body Cream

This was free from Influenster for review. I actually really liked this too. It's thick, but it sinks into the skin fairly quickly. It smells very nice. It also made my skin feel so soft and hydrated. I have some other body lotions to use up first, but I'm definitely repurchasing this when the others are gone. 

Layhomo Shea Butter Body Lotion

 

This wasn't hydrating at all. It felt like water. As soon as I rubbed it in, it was gone, and it felt like I didn't apply anything at all.  

 

 

Peach & Lily Super Oasis Concentrated Serum

 

This was fine. The formula is thin and sinks into the skin quickly. I don't feel like it did enough for its price though. 

 

Tatcha The Dewy Milk Moisturizer

 

This was fine too. I don't think it's good enough for me to purchase a full size of this. 

 

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner

 

I really like this toner. I use it on my face on body. I've already repurchased this product and it's an item I will always repurchase. 

 

NARS Climax Mascara

 

I really liked this mascara. It was very black, and coated my lashes very well. 

 

Gold Bond Healing Hand Cream

 

I liked this hand cream. It smelled fine and it was thick and kept my hands feeling soft and hydrated. 

 

Redken All Soft Mega Treatment

 

I love this treatment! You only need a little bit of this, so this lasted forever! It smells nice and made my hair feel so soft and healthy. 

 

 

Bath & Body Works A Toast to You Body Lotion

 

This scent wasn't my favorite. I wouldn't purchase it again. 

 

Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Hand Cream in Lavender and Vanilla

 

This scent was okay. It smelled more like baby powder than lavender vanilla. This cream was thick and my hands felt soft after using it. I might try a different scent next time. 

 

 

Josie Maran Body Butter in Bohemian Fig

 

I liked how thick and moisturizing this body butter was, but I hated the scent. I might try a different scent, but I would not repurchase this one. 

 

PanOxyl Acne Creamy Wash

 

I wasn't a fan of this face wash. It has a chemical smell that I hated and it didn't do anything to help with my acne. I have a different face wash from this brand that I'm trying to use up now, but it smells the same as this wash and I'm hating it. 

 

 

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Brunette

 

I always use this dry shampoo. I like that it's tinted instead of white against my dark hair. 

 

Tatcha The Longevity Memory Cream sample

 

I didn't really like this moisturizer. It didn't seem to hydrate my skin as much as I was expecting it to. 

 

Benefit Cosmetics Lolli Balm

 

I wasn't a big fan of this lip balm either. It has too bright of a pink tint to it. It didn't hydrate at all either.

Summer & Autumn Empties and Review - 2024

 Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? If you celebrate, are you all ready for Christmas? I have to finish wrapping some gifts, but then I'm done.

If you haven't read my other posts over the past few weeks, I had issues with my camera over the summer and wasn't able to take pictures and therefore upload posts. I eventually figured it out, so this empties post has products I used up over the summer and fall. Without further ado, here's everything I used up over the last 6 months!

Tony Moly I'm Pearl Mask Sheet

I love these sheet masks. They're inexpensive but super hydrating.

Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment

This was fine. This brand is fairly expensive though, so I can't say it's worth the price.

 

Tula Skincare Probiotics & Superfoods 24/7 Moisture

This was very hydrating and felt great on my skin. So far, I've really enjoyed everything I've tried from this brand.

 

Gold Bond Ultimate Neck & Chest Age Defense Cream

I don't know about this. It's specifically for the neck and chest, and it seems like just an extra unnecessary step/product in my already jam packed routine. I'd rather just use whatever SPF I'm currently using on my face instead of pulling out ANOTHER product for a small area of my body.

 

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads

I really like these pads. They help make my skin feel soft and clean.

 

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer

This is okay. I'll continue to use any free samples I receive of this, but I won't go out of my way to purchase it.

 

Ole Henriksen Dewtopia 20% Acid Night Treatment

I really like this treatment. It brightens my skin and makes it feel incredible.

 

Lancome Advanced Genefique Repairing Night Cream

I do like this, but it's not remarkable. I'd rather buy a cheaper option like the First Aid Beauty and get the same results.

 

First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer

Ehh, this is one of the only FAB products I don't love. It's fine, but I'd rather just use their regular moisturizer.

 

First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub

This felt like it was going to give me actual results. Unfortunately, this didn't get rid of my KP at all. I'm super bummed this didn't work out for me.

 

Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss Ultimate Hydration Body Cream

This smelled really nice, and was hydrating. I'm trying not to purchase anymore Bath & Body Works lotions though. I've decided to only use fragrance free body lotions from now on. There is fragrance is so many other products in my beauty routine, and I don't want to be overly scented anymore.

 

First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser

I love this cleanser. My skin always feels so clean when I use this.

 

 

Sephora Smooth + Blur Primer

This felt nice on my skin, but made all of my foundations look like crap on my face.

 

 

Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser Scrub

This isn't something I would purchase again. It doesn't do anything to clear up blackheads.

 

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mini Mascara

 

This mascara is okay. It's not my favorite, but I'll use it when I get samples.

 

 

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes

 

I feel like this doesn't need any explanation.

 

Lanolips 101 Ointment in Multi-Balm Strawberry

I really liked this! It was super hydrating and made my lips feel so soft. I would absolutely buy this again.

 Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? I'm prepping for my baby shower in a couple weeks and getting everything ready for the new baby. It's crazy how fast the time is flying by!

These are fine for quick makeup removal.

Tony Moly I'm Red Wine Mask Sheet

I love these sheet masks! I repurchase these masks constantly.

Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner

This was a nice toner, but I didn't notice my dark spots clearing up at all.

Bath & Body Works Whipped Rose & Vanilla Ultimate Hydration Body Cream

This scent is very nice! Not overly vanilla scented and slightly floral.

 

Ouai Detox Shampoo

This was okay. I doubt I would ever purchase a full size bottle though.

Lancome Advanced Genefique

This sinks into the skin very quickly and kept my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Drunk Elephant Ceremight AF Eye Balm

I wouldn't repurchase this. I didn't notice any change in my eye area, and this didn't make my skin feel soft or hydrated at all.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash

This was okay. I didn't feel like it helped with my acne at all though.

Christina Aguilera Inspire Perfume

 

I've had this for such a loooooong time! I'm glad I finally used it up. This was my oldest perfume in my collection, so I'm glad it's finally empty.

Soft Lips x Hello Kitty Lip Balm in Hot Cocoa

 

This didn't do anything for my dry lips. But I never expected it to. It smells nice at least.

It Cosmetics Confidence in Your Beauty Sleep Serum

This was nice! It sinks into the skin nicely and kept my skin feeling hydrated all night.

Bath & Body Works Ultimate Hydration Body Lotion in Vanilla Bean Noel

I wouldn't buy this scent again. It's overly sweet and keeps its scent for a long time.

Olaplex Hair Perfector

This made my hair feel so nice and soft! I was worried about all the people saying it made their hair fall out, but that wasn't my experience. I will definitely repurchase this.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes

Again, these are fine for a quick makeup removal, but they make my skin feel oily.
