Spring Empties - 2021

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

Here are my empties for spring.  Again, lots of skincare, BUT I've actually started wearing more makeup lately so we'll be seeing some more makeup empties soon!

Dr. Teal's Relax & Relief Pure Epsom Salt

I always enjoy using epsom salts for baths/soaking my feet.  I have two more smaller bags of this same epsom salt that I will 100% be using.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream
This was nice.  It was moisturizing without being greasy.  I was sent a full size of this from BzzAgent so I'll use it again, but I do prefer the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter
This smells so nice.  It can be a bit overpowering though.  It was moisturizing but kind of left a greasy feeling on my skin.

Dr. Teal's Relax & Relief Body Wash
Smells just like the epsom salt.  Nice and relaxing.

Dior Diorshow Mascara
I really liked this mascara but it had a strong floral fragrance to it that I did not enjoy.

Dr.Brandt Needles No More 3D Volumizing Mask
I didn't see any difference in my skin after using this.  It actually balled up on my face after I applied my moisturizer.  This is a no for me.

Soap & Glory Scrub of Your Life
The scent is really nice.  My skin felt soft afterward.  Not sure I would prefer this over a regular body wash though.

Smashbox X-Rated Mascara
I liked this mascara too.  The only downside for me is that it is a very wet formula and smudged a bit.  Which is unfortunate because I love how it made my lashes look long and full.

Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction Fragrance Mist
I like this scent but I probably won't purchase it again, at least for quite a while.  I have a lot of perfume that I would rather wear instead, but I've been trying to use up the body sprays that I've had for a long time.  Thankfully this is the last of the older body sprays that I had.  I do have two more bottles of body spray, but they were purchased not that long ago, and I plan to use them up this year so I'll finally be left with only my "nicer" perfumes.

Briogeo Scalp Revival Shampoo
I will not be repurchasing this.  It felt like I had sand in my hair and my hair felt so dry after rinsing it out.  I had to use quite a lot of conditioner to make my hair feel soft again after this.

Ouai Leave In Conditioner
I liked how this made my hair feel, but I'm not at all a fan of the smell.  It's bad enough for me to not consider repurchasing this product.

Strivectin Advanced Resurfacing Daily Reveal Exfoliating Pads
These were great.  They really helped exfoliate my skin and made it look bright and smooth.  The pads are convenient and easy to use.

Couture Couture Juicy Couture Perfume
This was fine, but I really don't like the gaudy plastic cap on it.  Also, the name of this kills me.

Girlactik Beauty Precise Eyeliner Marker
I didn't like this liner.  It's a felt tip and I prefer brush tips.  This also dried out pretty quickly, and skipped while I was applying it.

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Liner
Again, this liner has a felt tip which isn't my favorite.  However, it was very black and it wasn't too difficult to use.

IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream
This was a really nice moisturizer.  It's a little bit thicker than I'd like, but my skin looked hydrated and soft after using this.

Moschino x Sephora Sheet Mask
I FINALLY got around to using this!  This made my skin feel very hydrated and soft.  The smell is okay.  It has "ears" attached to the mask which just ended up in my hair, so I folded them back over onto the rest of the mask instead.  I wish this mask would have been just a little bit wider to fit my face better.  It was cute, but the ears were unnecessary.

Bare Minerals Fresh Faced Made-2-Fit Foundation
I liked this foundation.  It was a perfect match to my skin, and it looked nice on.  I'm not sure I want to go through the whole process over and over again to buy a foundation though.  I'd rather go into a store and pick one up instead of waiting for it to arrive in the mail (hopefully intact).

Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Cleanser
I honestly don't know why I go back to this cleanser.  It dries out my skin.  My face feels tight after I wash it off.  I keep forgetting that I dislike this product and pick it up when I run out of whatever cleanser I'm using at the time.  I need to remember not to buy this!

Laneige Water Sleepimg Mask
I did not like this.  My face felt sticky and gross after applying it, and in the morning I could still feel residue on my skin.  This is definitely not something I'd go out and purchase.

MAC Prep + Prime
I like this.  It's not amazing and life changing, but it works.

Origins Ginzing Into The Glow Brightening Serum
I really liked this serum.  It sank into the skin quickly, and had a nice, but light citrus scent.  I do believe this helped make my skin look bright and youthful.  I would absolutely repurchase this.

That's everything I used up this time!  Thanks for stopping by!

Winter Empties - 2021

Hello, everybody!  How was your weekend?

I feel like I was able to use up a lot more products this season than usual.  It's such a great feeling!  I still have so much stuff, but I'm glad I'm actually using it.  Here's everything I was able to use up.  *Quick FYI: the first 5 products I finished off in the first week of January, so I don't know if you really want to count them as "winter" empties but I'm adding them here anyway!*

Pond's Original Fresh Moisture Clean Towelettes

Tony Moly I'm Charcoal Mask Sheet

Victoria's Secret Mango Temptation Body Spray

Clean & Clear Essentials Deep Cleaning Astringent

Botanics All Bright Bi-Phase Facial Oil

Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly

Well, this is embarassing.  I took this photo so long ago that I can't remember what the product is!  I'm pretty sure it's a moisturizer, but I cannot for the life of me remember which one.

Soap & Glory Clean On Me

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Creme Hydrating Moisturizer

Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray

Dr. Teal's Relax & Relief Body Wash

Garnier Fructis 10-In-1 Rescue Leave In Spray

St. Ives Blackhead Clearing Green Tea Scrub

Rimmel London x Kate Moss Lip Balm in Clear

That's all I was able to use up this time!  Thank you for stopping by.  Have a fantastic week!

Fall Empties - 2020

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?  Who's excited for Christmas?!  I think we all need some holiday cheer in our lives right now.

As usual, I don't have too many items to share with you, but here are the products I've used up these past few months.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion

I have repurchased this lotion so many times.  I really like it because it's not overly scented and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy for hours after applying.

Glam Glow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow

This was okay.  If you're wearing it alone (not under makeup) it makes your skin look VERY shiny!  My hands definitely had glitter all over them but I couldn't really see the glitter on my face.  It is also highly scented.  The scent isn't bad, but I can still smell it on my face hours later and I'm not a fan of that.

Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water

I really like this stuff!  I don't know what's in this to make it remove every ounce of makeup, but it's incredible.  I will absolutely be repurchasing a full size of this!

Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner

This was fine.  It could be a darker black, but it isn't awful.  I don't particularly like felt tip liners, so this isn't an eyeliner that I will repurchase.

Victoria's Secret Amber Romance Body Lotion

This scent is nice.  I'm not sure it does too much in the way of moisturizing though.  No matter how many times I applied it, it didn't seem to make my hands feel any softer.

Tula Skincare Dual-Phase Skin Reviving Treatment Pad

These are quite interesting.  One side of the pad is white and contains the fibers and serum that you rub over your face and the other side is blue and exfoliates your skin.  My skin did feel really soft after I used this though.

Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream

I'm really glad I used some of my Sephora points for this instead of buying a full size container.  I'm pretty sure this broke me out.  After I incorporated this into my skincare routine I began to get little whiteheads all over my face.  Needless to say, I won't be purchasing this.

L'Oreal Pure Clay Masks - Charcoal, Red Algea, and Eucalyptus

It took me a very long time to use these up.  They've been sitting in my bathroom for quite a while so I've been multi-masking with all three of these a lot lately.  My skin does look good right after using these, but I haven't seen any long term benefits.  I'm also not a huge fan of masks that dry down on your skin.  I prefer more moisturizing masks, so I won't be repurchasing any of these.

Those are all the products I used up over the last few months!

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have an amazing holiday!

Spring Empties - 2020

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

Now that my son is getting older and more independent, I've had a little more time to spend on self care and even putting on makeup now and then.  As a result, I finally finished off some base products that I've been working on for ages.  lol  Here are the products I used up during the Spring.

Ahava Mineral Hand Cream
I love this stuff!  I received another one for Christmas, but I will definitely repurchase this again!

Victoria's Secret Dream Fragrance Mist
Since I used up all of my samples and travel size perfumes last year, I'm actively working on using up frangrance mists and body sprays that I've had for a long time.  This one is okay.  Not a scent I love though.

Tarte Maracuja Oil
I won't purchase a full size of this.  The greasy feeling lasted too long after applying.  I wasn't a fan of the smell of it either.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil
I also won't purchase a full size of this too.  I guess I'm not into face oils lately.

Be A Bombshell Smooth Criminal Powder
To be far, I accidentally dropped this and about half of it spilled out.  This lasted SO LONG though.  I won't repurchase this though.  It says it smooths out lines and pores, but it made mine more pronounced and made my skin look so dry and aged.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer
This is okay but it's not my favorite.  I'll stick to my Urban Decay Primer Potion.

Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer
I sometimes repurchase this but I wouldn't say it's one of my favorites.  I'm absolutely not a fan of the scent though.  I'll probably repurchase this in the future but I still prefer the FAB Ultra Repair Cream.

Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pure Face Primer
This blurred my imperfections a bit, but I feel like it makes my foundation slip around.

Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream
This was nice!  I loved how it felt on my skin and how it made my eye area look.  It's a damn shame that it's so expensive though.  I don't know if I'll purchase the full size because of that reason.

Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel
Eh.  Not my favorite cleanser, but it did smell really good.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer
I liked this well enough.  I'm a big fan of the regular Ultra Repair Cream.

Suave Sea Salt & Eucalyptus Exfoliating Body Scrub
I liked this body scrub.  The scent is pretty earthy, but it's not bad.  I'm interested in trying this product out in different scents.

That's everything I was able to use up these last few months.  Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a great week!
