Sweet Carrot Cake Cleansing Gel Hand Soap

This was a free reward. I purchased the foaming soap in this scent months ago and I really liked it, so when I saw this was still available I knew I wanted to get it. Unfortunately, this leaked during shipping so I lost a little bit of it. I'd say like 10% of product leaked out. Thankfully an associate online helped me get a replacement. It's a different scent since this one is now out of stock, but that's okay. 

Bali Mango Ultimate Hydration Body Cream

I'm slowly buying products throughout the year to give away at Christmas, and this will be going into that pile. It was only $3 and some change, so definitely a steal of a deal. 

B&BW x Disney Princess Cinderella Fine Fragrance Mist

This is also going into the gift pile. This was also $3 something, which is amazing!  

Mahogany Teakwood Body Spray

I bought this years ago for my husband and he really liked it. It was on sale for only $4, so of course I got it for him. 

Aromatherapy Shower Steamers in Lavender + Vanilla

I've been wanting to try out some shower steamers, and this was under $4. I'm super excited to find out if these help me feel relaxed.

Spring Empties & Review - 2025

 Hello, everybody! How was your weekend? Can you believe it's summer already??

I've started a bunch of new products recently but haven't been able to use up a lot of them. I'm going to make it my mission to use up wayyy more products over the summer than I did over the last few months. Anyway, here's everything I used up recently!

 First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Cream

This was fine. It's a very small sample though so I can't speak to how well this works.

Glow Recipe Guava Vitamin C Bright-Eye Gel Cream

 

This was nice. My eye area felt soft and hydrated after using this. 

 

 

Charlotte Tilbury Dark Spot Correcting Radiance Recovery Serum

 

This formula is very thin and sank into my skin quickly. It was hydrating and my skin was glowy while I was using this. Not a fan of the price though. 

 

Aavrani Scalp Detox Jelly Cleanser

 

My hair felt so clean and free of residue with this cleanser! I did not like that it had those little plastic beads in it though. 

 

 

Soap & Glory Clean on Me Body Wash

 

I love this scent. My body feels clean and hydrated when I use it. I would (and have) totally repurchase this. 

 

 

Bath & Body Works Wicked Vanilla Woods Hydrating Body Cream

 

This scent was way too strong. I wanted to use this up as quickly as possible just to get rid of it. 

 

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter

 

This feels so thick and hydrating! My skin felt soft and smooth after applying this. The smell is nice too. A bit strong, but not horrible. 

 

Bumble & Bumble BB Hairdresser Invisible Oil

 

I like this spray. The scent is good and it doesn't leave any residue in my hair once it's dried. 

 

Clinique Take the Day Off Charcoal Cleansing Balm

 

I really, really like this makeup remover. It just melts the makeup off and I can just wipe it all away. I don't think the charcoal aspect of this is necessary, but I don't even think Clinique sells this version anymore anyway.

New Beauty Haul

 Hello, everyone! How was your weekend?

I haven't purchased too much lately as I'm mostly trying to use up products instead of collecting them. However, sometimes I run out of things or find something interesting that I want to try. So here are the few new products I picked up recently.

Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Lotion

I've decided that I want to step away from scented body lotions, at least for a while. I use a ton of scented products in my day to day life (scented soaps, detergent, hair products, perfume, etc.) that I really don't feel the need to add to the scents with my body lotion. Long story short, I bought this lotion instead of something heavily scented.

Vertex Eyeliner Stencil

 

I rarely apply eyeliner these days, and as a result I'm not very good at doing it anymore. Haha! I want to try out this stencil and see if it really helps me out.

Maybelline Dream BB Fresh Skin Hydrating Beauty Balm

 

I am STILL on a mission to find my holy grail foundation! I haven't tried this before, so here's hoping it's good.

La Roche-Posay Hydrating Gentle Cleanser

 

I've heard a lot of great things about this brand, so I decided to branch out and give it a try. I was in need of a new cleanser, so this was an obvious choice for me.

I'm not going to lie, TikTok made me buy this. I'm interested to see if it lives up to the hype.

I picked up some items from Bath & Body Works recently. I knowww I said I wouldn't purchase anymore body sprays until I used up some more perfume, but I bought these to use as gifts. I have a ton of women and girls in my family, so I figured I could add these in with birthday presents for the girly girls in my family throughout the year. I forgot to include a few wallflower refills in this post, but other than those here's everything I picked up during the sale!

Spring Empties and Review - 2024

 Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? It's been a bit crazy around here. I gave birth to my second baby 4 weeks early, and we had to spend about 2 weeks in the pediatric wing of the hospital because he needed to be tube fed for a little while. Baby boy is doing awesome now, so thank goodness for that!

On to what you're actually here for. Here's everything I used up recently.

Palmer's Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks

These were samples from free baby boxes, and my pregnant self was very thankful for them! They smell nice, and the lotion feels super hydrating.

Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer

This was fine. I like to keep small hand lotions/creams in my purse and this fit the bill. I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it does its job.

First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser

You all know by now that I love pretty much anything from this brand. I've repurchased this specific cleanser so many times I've lost count.

Vichy Mineral 89

I wasn't a fan of this moisturizer. It's a gel consistency which isn't my favorite. I don't feel like they hydrate as well as a cream. This isn't something I'd purchase.

Kiehl's Ultra Face Cream

This moisturizer is really nice though! It's a thick cream that sinks into the skin and keeps my face feeling hydrated and soft all day.

Kate Somerville EradiKate

I didn't notice any difference in my skin with this. For the price of the full size, I'd expect to see some results. Since this didn't have any effect on my skin, I can't see myself purchasing this product.

Tony Moly I'm Tea Tree Mask Sheet

I love these Tony Moly masks. I've tried a bunch of different formulas and I've loved pretty much all of them. This is one of the ones I like. It's hydrating and cooling, which feels amazing during the summer.

That's everything for now. I don't have as many products this time around since I gave birth early and had to stay with my baby in the hospital for a bit. Hopefully I'll be able to use up more products this season!

Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale Haul - 2023

 Hello, everyone! How was your holiday weekend?

The B&BW sale was going on recently, and you know I had to pick up a few things! I don't have a lot of fresh, spring and summer scents of candles, lotions, anything really, so I made a conscious effort to pick out spring/summer appropriate scents. Without further ado, here's what I picked out!

Pink Lilac & Vanilla 3 Wick Candle

This is a nice floral, but warm scent. It's not sickly sweet or overly floral. I'm excited to start burning this in my house.

Gold Glitter Pocketbac Holder

All of the pocketbac holders that I have are either Halloween or winter/Christmas designs (I've been using the wiener dog wearing a Santa hat on skis holder up until this point lol), so I decided to order a simple one that I can use anytime of the year.

Hand Creams in Pink Pineapple Sunrise and Bahamas

These smell incredible. I was able to get one of them for free as my birthday gift, so that's even better!

Ultimate Hydration Body Cream in Dark Kiss

I've never seen this scent before, and I'm glad I ordered it. It smells wonderful and I love the deep colors on the packaging. However, I realized I've got quite the stock pile of body creams from B&BW so I'm officially cutting myself off from buying any more (aside from the upcoming Halloween line...) until I use up some of what I have.

Mahogany Coconut Wallflower Refill

I already put this up in our small bathroom and it smells amazing!

Turtle & Snail Wallflower Plug In

I'm using this plug in in our small bathroom as well. The wallflowers that I have are (again) all Fall/Halloween or Christmas themed designs, so I needed something I could put out for the rest of the year. This turtle is adorable.

Mahogany Teakwood Body Spray

This was one of my husband's Father's Day gifts. He doesn't wear cologne or body sprays very often (mostly just on our date nights), but the one he currently has is almost gone. I really like this scent, it smells warm and musky.

New Beauty Haul

 Hi, everyone! How was your weekend? We're finally feeling better around here. We caught covid for the first time at the beginning of the month. Thankfully, my son was only ill for 2 days, and my husband was mildly ill for about a week mostly with body aches and a headache. Unfortunately, I was miserable for a solid 2 weeks. That was the sickest I have ever been. Then, a week after I finally started feeling better, I got a tooth infection! Which, of course, didn't start hurting until Friday night after my dentist office closed, so I had to deal with the pain the entire weekend. It has been a rough month for sure, but I'm happy to say that we are all feeling fine now!

Anyway, on to the beauty stuff! Here are all of the new beauty products I picked up/received recently.

Whipped Rose & Vanilla Ultimate Hydration Body Cream

I haven't seen this scent before, so I wanted to give it a try. It smells really good! I may go back for the body wash as well.

Blackberry & Basil Ultimate Hydration Body Cream

 

This is also a scent I haven't seen before. I thought it would smell divine, and I was right! I'm so glad I ordered the body wash to go with it.

 

Blackberry & Basil Shower Gel

Smells just as good as the body lotion!

Midnight Amber Glow Hand Cream

I got this because I wanted a small hand cream to keep in my purse. All of my other lotions and creams are in big tubes that take up a lot of space.

Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm in Strawberry

I received this from BzzAgent for review. This is nice enough. It's thick and really helps hydrate my cracked, chapped lips. The only con is that it's REALLY thick and it doesn't really sink into the lips for quite a while. Because of that, I only use this at night.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Fresh

I needed a new dry shampoo, and I like this brand.

Biore The Original Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

I have so many blackheads on my nose, and I hate them. Here's hoping this helps!

Flower Beauty Flower Pots Powder Blush in Sweet Pea

I don't have a lot of products from this brand, so I wanted to pick up some more. This blush looks nice, and I can't wait to try it out.

Flower Beauty Petal Pout Lip Scrub

I was in need of a new lip scrub, so I decided to try this one.
