Random Beauty Declutter - 2023

 Hello, everyone! How was your weekend?

I've been slowly going through all of my makeup/skincare/haircare/etc. collection and decided to try to declutter a bit more products that I'm either not going to use or have too much of. These are the products I'm getting rid of for now!

Redkin Blondage Shampoo

I used to have blonde hair, but I decided to go back to dark brown. Obviously, I no longer need this anymore.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Bronzer in Sun Kissed

I hate the color of this bronzer. It pulls VERY yellow on my skin tone, and just looks weird on me.

Michiru Hair Regrowth Treatment

Not worth it. The instructions say to apply this twice a day, but it makes my hair look and feel greasy and disgusting. No amount of time or dry shampoo made my hair look cleaner after applying this. I'd rather have slightly thinning hair than hair that looks nasty.

Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation Primer

This is very glowy. Too glowy. My skin looks like an oily mess when I use this primer.

Cle De Peau Correcting Cream Veil

This one hurts to let go of. It's my first Cle De Peau product, but it doesn't work with my skin type. It clings to my dry patches and sinks into my pores and makes them more pronounced.

YSL Touche Eclat Blur Perfector

I do like this, but I never reach for it anymore. My skin used to be pretty oily, but it's more normal now. Even if I do see some oil on my face, I'd rather use a blotting sheet instead of this because it disrupts my makeup.

Philosophy Amazing Grace

This came from a set of 3. I like this perfume, but I have so many perfumes now and I'm trying to only keep the ones I love and will use often. I'm keeping the other 2 versions of this, but I think my mom will get more use out of this one than I will.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Serum

I didn't even get around to taking a picture of this product because I'm not sure if I'm supposed to talk about this yet, but I'm going to. I received this free from BzzAgent for review. I was instructed to use this twice a day for two weeks. I used this 3 times and stopped because it broke me out in a ton of white heads all over my face! I don't have sensitive skin, and I've used a lot of It Cosmetics products before with no issues. I would much rather have some redness that I can cover up with makeup than a face full of white heads.

Beauty Haul

 Hello, everybody!  How was your weekend?  I'm exhausted!  I just finished two weeks of training for my new job, and I had my first days of work by myself Friday and yesterday.  I'm working at the local hospital in the Nutrition Services department, and my schedule is three 12 hour shifts each week.  I've never had to work 12's before, and it really is exhausting.  I do enjoy having four days a week off though.

Anyway!  Here are all the new products I'm trying out these days.

Ardell Clear Brush-On Eyelash Adhesive

My old eyelash glue completely dried out, so I finally picked up this lash glue to replace it.  I've never tried this lash glue, so hopefully it works well. 

Keys Soulcare Skin Transformation Cream & Be Luminous Exfoliator

These were sent to me from Influenster free for review.  I heard that Alicia Keys came out with a skincare line, but I haven't tried any of her products until now.  The moisturizer is nice, but I don't think it's any better than other face creams I've tried in the past.  I do like the elegant purple glass jar though.  The exfoliator surprised me a bit.  For some reason I wasn't expecting it to be in powder form.  It made my skin feel really smooth after using it though!  I would probably repurchase the exfoliator.

 

 

YSL Beauty The Slim Velvet Radical Matte Lipstick in Beige Instinct

This product was sent to me from BzzAgent for review.  The formula feels nice on my lips and it looks beautiful.  The packaging is nice, but I don't like that it's square.  It made applying the lipstick a bit difficult.  If they had made this in a normal bullet shape then it would be perfect.

 

Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Bronzer in Sunkissed

This was also sent to me from Influenster free for review.  I don't typically use cream products, but I've been wanting to step away from all powder products now that I'm getting a little older.  I think cream products will sit on my skin better than powder products have been lately.  This shade is a little too yellow/orange for my liking, but it has a nice natural finish and it blended out really well.

 

Murad Daily Clarifying Peel

 

This was sent to me from BzzAgent for review.  I've been using it for a little while now, and I haven't noticed enough difference in my skin to consider repurchasing this.

 

 Aveda Nutri-plenish Leave In Conditioner

This was also sent to me from BzzAgent.  This is ok.  The scent isn't the best, and I haven't noticed any difference in my hair after using this.

Mugler Alien Goddess Eau De Parfum

This was sent to me from Influenster for review.  The design of the bottle is a little weird to me, but the scent is amazing.  It has a warm vanilla scent that I think is perfect for all seasons.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes

 

I ran out.  I bought more.  I really don't have anything more to say about these.  lol

No. 7 Pure Retinol Eye Cream

 

This is another product to review from BzzAgent.  I haven't gotten around to trying it out yet, so hopefully it's good!

Dior Miss Dior Eau de Parfum

I received this complimentary from Influenster for review.  The bottle is cute, and it smells so nice!  It's just too bad that I'm not allowed to wear perfume at work because I would definitely wear this all the time.

 Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

I really don't "need" anymore makeup, but I always seem to buy more of it.  Do I need two more red lipsticks?  No, but I don't have THESE two.  Do I also have one more on the way?  *Hides face in shame*  Joking aside, here's everything new that I got recently!

There's nothing really to say about these besides I ran out of makeup remover wipes and needed more.

NARS VIP Audacious Lipstick in Rita

It may be a bit difficult to see in the pictures, but the casing is gold.  It is also limited edition, so obviously I had to have it.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-In-Stick Lipstick in Ready to Seduce

The red stars on the packaging of this lipstick are so cute!  The shade I really wanted came back in stock, so I ordered that one too and it's on its way.

Colourpop x Mulan Lux Gloss in Phoenix

I didn't plan on purchasing this lipgloss, but I only needed to spend a few more dollars on the Colourpop website to qualify for free shipping so I decided on this.

Colourpop x Hello Kitty and Friends Pressed Powder Palette

I love Hello Kitty, so when I saw this palette I couldn't resist it!

Colourpop Wine & Only Pressed Powder Palette

This palette was the reason I browsed through the Colourpop website.  I saw someone post swatches of this palette on their Instagram stories and I fell in love with it!
