Hello, everyone! How has your week been so far?
I have my review and swatches of the limited edition Sephora x Moschino Bear Eyeshadow palette for you today. First, let's discuss the packaging. Some people love it, some people hate it. I think it's cute. The "THIS IS NOT A MOSCHINO TOY" bear is a classic Moschino symbol, so it comes as no surprise that it's the main focus in this collection. The packaging is definitely bulky, but lightweight as it is plastic. Unfortunately, it's a reflective plastic that will also show fingerprints. Inside the case there is a decent size mirror and 21 shadows in matte and shimmer finishes. Next, let's all agree that the shadows in this palette are highly pigmented. I was blown away by the shimmer shades. They're high shine without being chunky. A few of the shadows feel quite dry, but they blend nicely and are still very pigmented. Staring at this palette, it's a lot to look at, but everything is still cohesive. The top half of the palette are wearable, everyday shades, while the bottom half are pops of color. There are many shadows that are perfect for transition shades, a dark brown and a black for adding depth to neutral looks, dark pops of color for adding depth to colorful looks, and beautiful shimmers to amp up your eye makeup.

The only con (besides the bulky packaging) is that I feel like there a some duplicates in this palette (will post comparison photos below). First are Fantasy and Kisses. Next are Mesmerized and Clay. I wish that instead of adding colors that are nearly identical, two other shades could have been included.
Also, since this packaging is quite bulky, I thought it would be important to note that the cardboard piece containing the shadows can be removed from the case completely.
Included alongside the palette is a pamphlet with four city inspired eye looks with step-by-step instructions.
What do you think about this palette? I was honestly so surprised at how smooth and pigmented these shadows are. This is a wonderful palette to have, in my opinion.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have an amazing weekend!
