Collective Beauty Haul

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

I've purchased a few beauty products over the past few weeks that I want to show you.  Only one is a new product (the rest have been around for a while), but they're items that I've been wanting to purchase for some time.

Wet N Wild Coloricon Baked Blush in Dare to Soar (LE)
I'm not really a blush person, but I decided to pick this one up because I don't have many shimmery blushes in my collection.  I thought this would be nice to have on the rare occasion that I wanted to wear a shimmery blush.

Wet N Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder in Blossom Glow
I've seen this highlighter around for a while (even though the packaging says it's new??) and every time I look for it, it's always sold out.  I recently found it in stock though and I'm so glad I grabbed it while I had the chance because it is such a beautiful highlight shade.

St. Ives Blackhead Clearing Green Tea Scrub
I finished off the Dr. Brandt scrub that I've been using lately and decided to go back to an old favorite.  I really like the Dr. Brandt scrubs, but they are just too expensive!  I can't justify spending $79.00 on a facial scrub when I can get this one for under $10.00.

Kat Von D Beauty Metal Crush Eyeshadow in Thunderstruck
I'm so very happy that I ordered this before it was gone forever.  It's such a stunning shade to use on the eyes or as a highlighter (for super pale people like me).

Moschino x Sephora Moschino Bear Highlighter
I'm slowly but surely adding more of the Moschino x Sephora items into my collection.  I think this whole collection is so cute and cool.

Sunday Riley Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask
This was a free sample with my Sephora order, but I'm excited to try it out!  I haven't had the chance to try anything from this brand since it is so expensive.  Have you tried anything from Sunday Riley?  If so, what is your favorite product?

That's everything! Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you have a great week!

Sephora Collection x Moschino Bear Eyeshadow Palette Review + Swatches

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been so far?

I have my review and swatches of the limited edition Sephora x Moschino Bear Eyeshadow palette for you today.  First, let's discuss the packaging.  Some people love it, some people hate it.  I think it's cute.  The "THIS IS NOT A MOSCHINO TOY" bear is a classic Moschino symbol, so it comes as no surprise that it's the main focus in this collection.  The packaging is definitely bulky, but lightweight as it is plastic.  Unfortunately, it's a reflective plastic that will also show fingerprints.  Inside the case there is a decent size mirror and 21 shadows in matte and shimmer finishes.  Next, let's all agree that the shadows in this palette are highly pigmented.  I was blown away by the shimmer shades.  They're high shine without being chunky.  A few of the shadows feel quite dry, but they blend nicely and are still very pigmented.  Staring at this palette, it's a lot to look at, but everything is still cohesive.  The top half of the palette are wearable, everyday shades, while the bottom half are pops of color.  There are many shadows that are perfect for transition shades, a dark brown and a black for adding depth to neutral looks, dark pops of color for adding depth to colorful looks, and beautiful shimmers to amp up your eye makeup.

Swatches

The only con (besides the bulky packaging) is that I feel like there a some duplicates in this palette (will post comparison photos below).  First are Fantasy and Kisses.  Next are Mesmerized and Clay.  I wish that instead of adding colors that are nearly identical, two other shades could have been included.

Also, since this packaging is quite bulky, I thought it would be important to note that the cardboard piece containing the shadows can be removed from the case completely.

Included alongside the palette is a pamphlet with four city inspired eye looks with step-by-step instructions.

What do you think about this palette?  I was honestly so surprised at how smooth and pigmented these shadows are.  This is a wonderful palette to have, in my opinion.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have an amazing weekend!

Sephora Haul

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been so far?

I placed an order online through Sephora a little while ago, and I wanted to share with you everything that I got.  I was just browsing through my "loves" list trying to decide what items to order, and I noticed that the KVD lipstick trio was suddenly in stock.  So, of course, I had to snatch it up as quickly as I could!  I've also been wanting something from the Moschino collection since I wasn't able to purchase anything from that line when they first came out.  I decided on the eyeshadow palette because it's freaking adorable.

Kat Von D Beauty Best of Studded Kiss Lipstick Trio
Okay, the original price for this set is $60.00, but I got it on sale for $36.00!  Individually, KVD lipsticks cost $21.00 each (the lipsticks with the old formula have been marked down to $12.00 each), so it was definitely a bargain.  The three shades are the most loved shades from Kat's line: Underage Red, Lolita, and Vampira.  I had been wanting the shades Underage Red and Vampira for ages and, of course, Lolita is a staple shade for everyone, so I figured I couldn't pass this set up.

Sephora Collection x Moschino Bear Eyeshadow Palette
Like I said earlier, I adored everything from this collection but I wasn't able to pick up anything when it first launched.  By some miracle, every item in the collection came back in stock on Sephora's website last month!  I know the packaging is incredibly bulky and not great for travel or storage, but I don't mind at all.

That's everything I picked out!  Do you have any of these products?  What are your thoughts on them?

I hope you have a great weekend.  Thanks for stopping by!
