Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

For this week's MMC I have all of my bronzers and contour products to show you.  I don't have too many contouring products because I don't think I'm very good at contouring.  I'm starting to really get into bronzer though, so I'm slowly adding more to my collection.

Update & My Makeup Collection: Bronzer/Contour

Hello, everyone!  I hope everyone who celebrated the holiday had a wonderful Easter!

I want to start off by apologizing for being MIA these past few weeks.  Things have been a little bit hectic around here.  We had some nice, sunny days so we were doing a lot of yard work and we have a lot more to do.  When we moved in to this place I really wanted to have all the yard work done before spring break, but there's just so much to do and we keep finding new things that need to be fixed.  We just found out a tree in the backyard is so dead it's basically hollow and there's a hornet's nest inside.  YAY!  (That was sarcasm, just FYI.)  My "day job" is providing child care and I really want the yard finished and safe for the kids to be able to play outside.  It rained for most of last week, but it's supposed to be really nice this week and weekend, so I'm hoping we can get a lot more done.  If my posting becomes a bit inconsistent these coming weeks, it's because I've been spending most of my time doing work around the house and I'm very sorry.  I just really want to get everything finished before summer break starts because I'll have the kids that I watch all day, everyday.

Okay, now that that's out of the way, for today's post I'm going to show you all of my bronzer and contour products.  I'm still learning how to contour, so I don't have too many contouring products and only a few bronzers, but here they are none the less.

Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette Review + Swatches

Hello, everyone!  I hope you had a great weekend!

For this week's blog post I'm showing you the Kat Von D Shade + Light eyeshadow palette.  This palette has all neutral, matte shades.  The 12 shades are divided into three quads of neutral, cool, and warm tones providing a little something for everyone.  Each quad has base, contouring, defining, and highlighting shades that are perfect for any eye look.  The shadows are very smooth and easy to blend.  Just like the original Shade + Light palette, all of the "Light" colors start with the letter L and all of the "Shade" colors start with the letter S.  The sleek packaging is almost exactly the same as the Shade + Light Contour palette except this palette says "eye" since it's the eyeshadow palette, and it has gold detailing instead of silver.  This palette retails for $46. Kat Von D products are sold exclusively through Sephora.

Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette Review + Swatches

I purchased my very first contour palette recently.  The one I chose was the Shade & Light palette from Kat Von D.  I've loved every Kat Von D product I've ever had, so this decision was an obvious one for me.  The contour shades are smooth and creamy so they're easy to blend.  I know I'll never use the darkest shade for contouring, but I can always use it as an eyeshadow so it doesn't go to waste.
