My Makeup Collection 2018: False Lashes

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

For this week's MMC, I'm going to show you all of my false lashes and accessories.  I only wear lashes on special occasions, so I really don't have that many.

House of Lashes: both of the pink cases, LE Tinkerbell lash glue, LE Tinkerbell lashes in Forever Tink, (in case top-bottom) Hollywood Glam, Femme Fatale, and Le Mystere.

Pur Cosmetics: Pro Eyelashes in the style Bombshell

Huda Beauty: Samantha #7

Kiss: both of the pink tools inside the cases and lashes in styles 01 and 03.

Misc.: (top-bottom) I honestly do not remember where the lashes with the glitter band are from or the style name (sorry!), Katy Perry by Eyelure in the style Oh, My!, and I don't remember the name of the pink ones but I bought them from Sephora years ago.

That's if for me for lashes.  I need to practice applying them so I can wear them more often.  Any tips you have for applying false lashes perfectly would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a good week.

Boxycharm Unboxing - August 2017

Hello, everyone!  Happy Eclipse Day!

I received my Boxycharm a few days ago and I want to show you what I got this month!  If you don't already know, Boxycharm is a monthly beauty subscription service that includes 4-5 full size products and costs $21.00 per month and always has a value of $100.00+.  August's theme is "Beach Please" and my box this month has a total value of $129.00!  I also received a coupon code from Tarte for $10.00 off of orders over $60.00 on tarte.com which is valid until 09/15/2017.  The code is BOXYAUGUST if you want to use it.  ;)

Tarte "Rainforest of the Sea: Volume 2" eyeshadow palette - $36.00
I was so excited to see a palette from a well known brand in this month's box!  I'm not sure how I feel about its size though.  I was expecting it to be a little bigger (this is only my second Tarte palette, my first is their Make Believe In Yourself palette which is also circular but a bit bigger), but I guess since it's small it would be good for traveling.  The packaging is beautiful though.  The shadows are creamy and pigmented.  *Conch doesn't show up too well on my skin because it's fairly close to my skin color.*  Half of the shades are matte and the other half are shimmer shades, so you can create quite a few different looks.

Royal & Langnickel "Moda Pro" 3 piece brush set - $26.00
I haven't used any R&L brushes before, but I've heard good reviews on this brand.  The set includes a blush brush, a contour brush, and a crease brush.  I haven't tried these on my face yet, but the bristles are very soft and the rubber handles are easy to hold on to.

Adesse "Gel Effect Nail Polish" in the shade Suzannemi - $18.00
I love red nail polish, so naturally I'm a fan of this shade.  I know some Boxycharm members don't like receiving nail polish in their boxes, but I don't mind.  I actually enjoy trying out new nail polish brands.  I've heard of Adesse polishes before but haven't tried them, so I'm excited to wear this.

Pur Cosmetics "Pro Eyelashes" in the style Bombshell - $14.00
I don't wear false lashes too often but when I do, I prefer this shape.  I like that these are cruelty free and reusable up to 30 times.

Aloette "Face Paint" lip and cheek tint in the shade Blooming Berry - $35.00
The shade is pretty, but I won't be using this on my cheeks.  The formula feels a bit greasy and I'm not about to put anything greasy on my face.  I'll definitely use this as a lip tint though.

And that's what I received this month!  What did you get in your box?

Did you watch the eclipse today?  If so, are you also in the path of totality or did you travel to see it? I live in Oregon in the path of totality so I have a great view from my backyard.  However, Oregon is estimated to have around 1 MILLION visitors for the event!  O.O

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a fun and safe day!

House of Lashes x Tinkerbell Collection

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

I recently purchased a couple of items from the Tinkerbell collection from House of Lashes and I wanted to share them with you!  The entire collection is adorable (even the box they are delivered in!), but I only picked out two items for now.

The first item is their lash glue with the limited edition Tinkerbell packaging.  I haven't worn any false lashes in over a year because I've been out of lash glue and I kept forgetting to buy some.  I've been wanting to try out the HOL lash glue because I hate the Duo brand.  (It works fine, but it smells like cat pee and irritates my eyes.)  I also like that this glue has a brush instead of the squeeze tube.  I always make a mess with the tubes.

The second item I picked out is a pair of the Tinkerbell lashes in the style Forever Tink.  These are more on the "natural" side.  Meaning they're not too long and aren't the winged style.

What do you think of this collection?  I love all things Tinkerbell, so I had to pick up something from this collection!

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a good week!
