Beauty Haul

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been so far?  Things have been a bit crazy around here.  I had to have surgery at the beginning of May to have my gallbladder removed, and my husband just had knee surgery on Tuesday and will be on bed rest for at least the next 4 weeks.

On to the haul...I got a few things for my birthday at the beginning of the month.  This is all the makeup and beauty products that I received.  I'm pretty excited to try everything out!

NARS Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette

Sephora birthday gift - Briogeo Duo

Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer in Light

Wet N Wild Hello Halo in Highlight Bling

ILNP in Cherry Luxe

That's everything!  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!

My Makeup Collection: Concealers/Color Correctors

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

We're going through my concealers and color correctors in this week's MMC.  I don't have too many, so leave me some recommendations in the comments for products to try out!

Concealers: L'oreal True Match & Benefit Cosmetics Boi-ing

Color Correctors: Physician's Formula Pressed Powder in Green & YSL Touche Eclat Neutralizer in Green

And that's all I have!  I'm thinking about picking up the YSL Touche Eclat Neutralizer in Bisque for color correcting my dark circles.  I have such a hard time with concealers though because a lot of them crease on me, and I hate that.  What are some of your favorites?  I need some recommendations!

I hope you have a good week!  Thanks for stopping by!

My Makeup Collection: Face Powders

Hello, everyone!  I hope you had a great weekend!

For this week's MMC, we're going through my face powders.  I don't own many face powders because I feel like they make my makeup look cakey and I'm not a fan of that look!  I heard the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders are really good and so finely milled that they don't look cakey on the skin, so I'm thinking about giving those a try someday.

Here's what I have so far!

Rimmel London "Stay Matte" Pressed Powder in TranslucentA lot of people say amazing things about this powder, but I don't feel like it's really that special.  When I apply this it gets cakey and sometimes removes my foundation.

Bare Minerals "Mineral Veil" Loose Powder.  I like this for setting my concealer and it doesn't look too cakey over foundation.

Be A Bombshell "Smooth Criminal" Loose Powder.  I really like this powder.  It doesn't settle into my fine lines or pores and it smooths everything and makes my foundation look flawless.  However, I do not like this for baking!  I tried it once under my eyes and it left behind so much white powder that I couldn't brush away.  It was not cute.

Physician's Formula "Multi-Colored Corrector" in Green.  This was my first ever color correcting product.  I only use this when I'm wearing powder foundation, but it does a good job at correcting the redness on my face.

Guerlain "Meteorites Perles des Neiges" (Holiday 2015 LE Collection).  This powder leaves a soft, radiant look to the face when applied, but I try not to use it too much since it's limited edition and so freaking adorable!

So that's it for my powders!  If you have any recommendations for powders to try out, let me know in the comments!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a good week!
