Winter Empties & Review - 2025

Hello, everybody! How was your weekend? I'm so happy that spring is finally here. I'm ready to get out in the sun and enjoy nature again. We weren't able to get out as much as we would've liked last spring/summer after I gave birth, so its been a long time since we were able to be outside.

Anyway, I have a lot of skincare products again this season. Here's everything I was able to use up recently!

Tony Moly I'm Rice Mask Sheet

I love Tony Moly masks, so it's no surprise that I enjoyed this mask.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown

This is my favorite brow pencil. I've tried other brands and they just don't compare for me.

L'Oreal Unbelievabrow Clear Brow Gel

This was fine. The brush was a little bit bigger than I would have liked.

Algenist Eye Renewal Balm

I didn't love this, but it wasn't horrible either. It didn't really sink into my skin as well as I would have liked, and was a little bit greasy.

Soap & Glory Face and Clarity Facial Wash

This was okay. Not my favorite though so I wouldn't repurchase this.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lip Therapy

I love this brand, but this was awful. It didn't feel like it did anything to help my chapped lips, and the smell/taste is disgusting. The red tint looked nice though.

Bath & Body Works Enchanted Candy Potion

This scent was too strong. It was difficult to get through this lotion. I would not repurchase this scent again.

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

I like this cleanser, but not more than my First Aid Beauty cleanser.

Tree Hut Green Tea Shea Sugar Scrub

I like that these are inexpensive and come in a huge variety of scents.

Tony Moly I'm Aloe Mask Sheet

Again, I love these masks. Every one I've tried has been very hydrating.

It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream

I really like this moisturizer. I may even like it more than the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. This isn't as greasy as the FAB one, but it is slightly scented.

That's everything I used up this last season! Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

New Beauty Haul

Hi, everyone! How was your holiday weekend? Unfortunately, my son had an ear infection and woke up around 4:30 every morning. Needless to say, we were all very tired this past weekend.

On to nicer things... here's everything I received/bought recently and also some items that were in my stocking for Christmas!

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness

I received this from BzzAgent, and I did not like this at all. I already wrote about this in my last declutter post, but here it is again with pictures this time. This caused my face to break out with dozens of whiteheads. It didn't even lessen the amount of redness on my face. Not worth it at all, in my opinion.

The Ordinary Niacinamide Powder

I haven't had a chance to try this out yet, but I'm excited to!

Ole Henriksen Acids Done Bright Set

This was on clearance, so I ordered it. I've used 2 out of the 3 products in this set before, and I liked both of them. I hadn't tried the scrub before, but it smelled divine!

Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer

I had a sample of this, and I loved how it looked under my eyes so I purchased the full size of it. It brightens and conceals so well, I actually look rested. lol

Youth to the People Superfood + Cedarwood Fresh Greens Hand Soap

I received this free from BzzAgent. This is really nice. I love the glass bottle, and the scent is very fresh. Would I pay $39 to replace this hand soap? No.

Tony Moly I'm Red Wine Mask Sheet

I've used this brands sheet masks for many years and I love them!

Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer in Shade 2

I received this free from BzzAgent. I've only tried this once so far, but it disprupted my foundation when I applied it. I'll try applying it before foundation and see if that works better.

MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish

I loved the look of this packaging, and it was on sale at Ulta, so I impulsively purchased it. I have no idea if this shade is going to be a bit too dark for me. Here's hoping it's not!

Tree Hut Vitamin C Shea Sugar Scrub

This was in my stocking for Christmas. I love these scrubs!

Hair Clips

These were also in my stocking. Thank goodness because I definitely needed more! I love the colors of these clips too.

Kitsch

*Also in my stocking* I can always use more hair ties!

Kitsch

*Also in my stocking* I really like these velvet scrunchies!

O Keeffe Lip Repair Lip Balm

*Also in my stocking* I have chronically dry lips, so here's hoping this helps!

Lily England Detangling Brush

*Also in my stocking* I love the color of this brush!

Tony Moly I'm Aloe Mask Sheet

*Also in my stocking* I love love love these sheet masks, so I'm always happy to get more.

Sun Bum Tinted Sunscreen Lip Balm

*Also in my stocking* I've never tried this brand before, but I'm interested to see how this works for me during the summer.

Que Bella Cleansing Aloe Vera Cream Mask

This was part of gift from a game we played with my in-laws on Christmas Eve. I love face masks, so I'm always happy to get new ones to try!

Hair Brush and Comb

This was a Christmas gift and came as a set. I've been wanting a wooden handled brush for quite some time now, but I keep forgetting to actually go out and buy one. I'm so happy to finally have one now!

Hair Bows

*Also in my stocking* I love hair bows! I haven't worn any in a long time though. I'm so ready to start wearing them again. These bows are so cute!

That's everything I got for now! Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful new year!

Winter Empties - 2022

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? I'm feeling loads better than I was last week! ICYMI, I had my wisdom teeth removed, so I was very sore and swollen. I feel just fine now, thank goodness!

If you're new around here, every season I upload a post listing all the beauty products I've completely used up during the last three months. I realized a few years ago that I became a bit of a hoarder when it came to beauty items (I mean drawers full of unopened makeup, skincare, hair care products, etc.), so I'm actively trying to use up as many products as possible. So, here's everything I was able to use up this past season.

Tula Skincare Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm

I liked this. It made my under eyes look bright and hydrated. It was nice and cooling as well. This left behind a noticeable sheen to my under eye area, so if that's not something you're interested in then this isn't the product for you. I think it looked pretty and youthful though.

Sunday Riley C.E.O. Brightening Serum

This did brighten my skin and it smelled nice, but I don't think it's worth the price. There are other brightening products on the market now that work just as well for less cost.

Botanics Revive & Protect Postbiotic Moisturizer

I liked this moisturizer. My skin looked healthy and hydrated when I used it. It's fairly inexpensive too. This is something I would repurchase if I didn't already have 4328 other moisturizers to go through. lol

It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In Product

I really like this product. This is my second bottle, and I'm definitely going to repurchase this! It smells really nice, and it de-tangled my hair and made it feel so soft.

It Cosmetics Confidence In Your Beauty Sleep Skin-Transforming Pillow Cream

This was okay, but not something I would repurchase. I don't think it did anything amazing for my skin and it's kind of overpriced for what it is.

Lancome Idole Mascara

I really like this mascara. It separates and lengthens my lashes beautifully. This is a mascara I would absolutely repurchase. Actually, I just received the full size of this from BzzAgent, so yay!

DP Hue Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse

This isn't something I'd repurchase. It works fine, but you can achieve the same results with a mixture of ACV and water for wayyyyy less money. I do plan on keeping this bottle though because it will be perfect for my homemade ACV rinse.

Kerastase Soothing Scalp Scrub

I only used this twice and I did not like it at all. It took ages to wash all the exfoliating balls out of my long hair and I just didn't like how my hair felt after using this. I'm not a big fan of the scent either. It has a tiny hint of orange, but it smells mostly earthy to me. This made my hair smell like I had just rolled around in dirt and moss. Definitely not the smell I'm going for. My husband used this though. He didn't care about the smell and it was easy for him to wash out of his short hair. He used this a lot because at his previous job he was working with rubber and metal and paint that would constantly end up in his hair. This helped scrub it all out. Since he no longer works with those materials, he doesn't really use this anymore, so this isn't something we'll repurchase.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

I use this body lotion all the time. I wouldn't call it "amazing", but  it's nice and it works for me.

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Purifying Cleanser

This was okay. I wouldn't purchase this over my favorite First Aid Beauty cleanser though. I liked that it has tea tree oil, but that's about it.

Ahava Deadsea Water Mineral Hand Cream

I really like this hand cream. This is my second tube, and I already have another one. I like the scent and I love how it makes my hands feel soft and hydrated.

Tree Hut Firming Sugar Scrub in Mocha & Coffee Bean

This was nice, especially for the price. This smells just like coffee. This exfoliated my skin really well too. I have another tub of this just in a different scent that I'm excited to use.

That's everything I was able to use up this time! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have an amazing week!
