Summer & Autumn Empties and Review - 2024

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? If you celebrate, are you all ready for Christmas? I have to finish wrapping some gifts, but then I'm done.

If you haven't read my other posts over the past few weeks, I had issues with my camera over the summer and wasn't able to take pictures and therefore upload posts. I eventually figured it out, so this empties post has products I used up over the summer and fall. Without further ado, here's everything I used up over the last 6 months!

Tony Moly I'm Pearl Mask Sheet

I love these sheet masks. They're inexpensive but super hydrating.

Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment

This was fine. This brand is fairly expensive though, so I can't say it's worth the price.

Tula Skincare Probiotics & Superfoods 24/7 Moisture

This was very hydrating and felt great on my skin. So far, I've really enjoyed everything I've tried from this brand.

Gold Bond Ultimate Neck & Chest Age Defense Cream

I don't know about this. It's specifically for the neck and chest, and it seems like just an extra unnecessary step/product in my already jam packed routine. I'd rather just use whatever SPF I'm currently using on my face instead of pulling out ANOTHER product for a small area of my body.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads

I really like these pads. They help make my skin feel soft and clean.

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer

This is okay. I'll continue to use any free samples I receive of this, but I won't go out of my way to purchase it.

Ole Henriksen Dewtopia 20% Acid Night Treatment

I really like this treatment. It brightens my skin and makes it feel incredible.

Lancome Advanced Genefique Repairing Night Cream

I do like this, but it's not remarkable. I'd rather buy a cheaper option like the First Aid Beauty and get the same results.

First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer

Ehh, this is one of the only FAB products I don't love. It's fine, but I'd rather just use their regular moisturizer.

First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub

This felt like it was going to give me actual results. Unfortunately, this didn't get rid of my KP at all. I'm super bummed this didn't work out for me.

Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss Ultimate Hydration Body Cream

This smelled really nice, and was hydrating. I'm trying not to purchase anymore Bath & Body Works lotions though. I've decided to only use fragrance free body lotions from now on. There is fragrance is so many other products in my beauty routine, and I don't want to be overly scented anymore.

First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser

I love this cleanser. My skin always feels so clean when I use this.

Sephora Smooth + Blur Primer

This felt nice on my skin, but made all of my foundations look like crap on my face.

Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser Scrub

This isn't something I would purchase again. It doesn't do anything to clear up blackheads.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mini Mascara

This mascara is okay. It's not my favorite, but I'll use it when I get samples.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes

I feel like this doesn't need any explanation.

Lanolips 101 Ointment in Multi-Balm Strawberry

I really liked this! It was super hydrating and made my lips feel so soft. I would absolutely buy this again.

That's all for now! Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a magical Christmas!

Beauty Haul

Hello, everybody! How was your weekend? My birthday was last Monday. Unfortunately, I had to work. However, I did get off at 1:30, so I still had the rest of the day to enjoy with my family.

I can't believe it's summer already! This year is flying by. What are your favorite beauty products to use during the summer? Anyway, here are the beauty products I've picked up and received recently.

Verb Ghost Hair Mask

I saw this on sale on Sephora's website for $10, and since I already have the shampoo and conditioner in this line I figured I'd try it out.

Sol De Janiero Bom Dia Bright Cream

This was a freebie with my Sephora order. I've tried their Bum Bum Cream, but the scent is just too strong for me. Hopefully, this is better!

Danessa Myricks Beauty Infinite Chrome Flakes in Strobe Light

I'm kinda bummed that I spent $25 on this teeny, tiny jar. I thought it was going to be bigger. Here's hoping that it's amazing and makes up for the cost.

Si Passione Eclat Eau De Parfum by Giorgio Armani

I received this complimentary from BzzAgent for review. I love the red bottle because red is my favorite color. I like the scent, but it is a little bit more mature smelling for me. It's not bad, but it isn't something I would go out and purchase either.

These next few items were gifts for my birthday.

Heatless curlers

These are from Amazon, and I am so excited to try these out! I saw someone on Tik Tok use these and the curls are beautiful.

ILNP Nail Polishes in Rainshower and Fairy Floss

I love this brand of nail polish. Their holographic polishes are to die for. I'm so glad I get to add these to my collection.

Sigma x Samantha Ravndahl Brush Set

Can you believe I've never purchased a Sigma brush before? I don't know why, but they just never interested me. Then Samantha had to go and create a brush set with them and here I am with my first Sigma brushes.

Practk by Sigma Liner Brush

I don't really have anything to say about this one, but the handle is pretty cute.

Sigma Disney Princess Cinderella Lip Duo in Magical Lip Gloss and Dreamy Liquid Lipstick

These are beautiful lip colors that look amazing together!

 Sigma F28 Powder/Bronzer Brush

I've heard great things about this brush, so I'm kinda excited to use it.

Tula Skincare 24/7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night Cream

This was my free birthday gift from Ulta this year.

I ordered a few things from Sephora (again, I know) and scored some freebie there too!

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fu$$y

I had to double check that this wasn't the exact same shade as Fenty Glow. They are very similar, but this gloss is pink toned while Fenty Glow has a brown tone. I for sure thought they were the same color at first though!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Sarafine

Can you also believe that I've never purchased an ABH liquid lipstick before? Lol, idk why but I just never got around to it. I love a blue toned red, so I decided to get this shade.

SK-II Pitera Facial Treatment Essence

This was a free offer with purchase. I've used this before and really like it, but the full size bottle is just so expensive.

Tatcha Trio

This was the free birthday gift I chose from Sephora this year.

That's all for now! Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Winter Empties - 2022

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? I'm feeling loads better than I was last week! ICYMI, I had my wisdom teeth removed, so I was very sore and swollen. I feel just fine now, thank goodness!

If you're new around here, every season I upload a post listing all the beauty products I've completely used up during the last three months. I realized a few years ago that I became a bit of a hoarder when it came to beauty items (I mean drawers full of unopened makeup, skincare, hair care products, etc.), so I'm actively trying to use up as many products as possible. So, here's everything I was able to use up this past season.

Tula Skincare Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm

I liked this. It made my under eyes look bright and hydrated. It was nice and cooling as well. This left behind a noticeable sheen to my under eye area, so if that's not something you're interested in then this isn't the product for you. I think it looked pretty and youthful though.

Sunday Riley C.E.O. Brightening Serum

This did brighten my skin and it smelled nice, but I don't think it's worth the price. There are other brightening products on the market now that work just as well for less cost.

Botanics Revive & Protect Postbiotic Moisturizer

I liked this moisturizer. My skin looked healthy and hydrated when I used it. It's fairly inexpensive too. This is something I would repurchase if I didn't already have 4328 other moisturizers to go through. lol

It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In Product

I really like this product. This is my second bottle, and I'm definitely going to repurchase this! It smells really nice, and it de-tangled my hair and made it feel so soft.

It Cosmetics Confidence In Your Beauty Sleep Skin-Transforming Pillow Cream

This was okay, but not something I would repurchase. I don't think it did anything amazing for my skin and it's kind of overpriced for what it is.

Lancome Idole Mascara

I really like this mascara. It separates and lengthens my lashes beautifully. This is a mascara I would absolutely repurchase. Actually, I just received the full size of this from BzzAgent, so yay!

DP Hue Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse

This isn't something I'd repurchase. It works fine, but you can achieve the same results with a mixture of ACV and water for wayyyyy less money. I do plan on keeping this bottle though because it will be perfect for my homemade ACV rinse.

Kerastase Soothing Scalp Scrub

I only used this twice and I did not like it at all. It took ages to wash all the exfoliating balls out of my long hair and I just didn't like how my hair felt after using this. I'm not a big fan of the scent either. It has a tiny hint of orange, but it smells mostly earthy to me. This made my hair smell like I had just rolled around in dirt and moss. Definitely not the smell I'm going for. My husband used this though. He didn't care about the smell and it was easy for him to wash out of his short hair. He used this a lot because at his previous job he was working with rubber and metal and paint that would constantly end up in his hair. This helped scrub it all out. Since he no longer works with those materials, he doesn't really use this anymore, so this isn't something we'll repurchase.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

I use this body lotion all the time. I wouldn't call it "amazing", but  it's nice and it works for me.

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Purifying Cleanser

This was okay. I wouldn't purchase this over my favorite First Aid Beauty cleanser though. I liked that it has tea tree oil, but that's about it.

Ahava Deadsea Water Mineral Hand Cream

I really like this hand cream. This is my second tube, and I already have another one. I like the scent and I love how it makes my hands feel soft and hydrated.

Tree Hut Firming Sugar Scrub in Mocha & Coffee Bean

This was nice, especially for the price. This smells just like coffee. This exfoliated my skin really well too. I have another tub of this just in a different scent that I'm excited to use.

That's everything I was able to use up this time! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have an amazing week!
