My Makeup Collection 2018: False Lashes

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

For this week's MMC, I'm going to show you all of my false lashes and accessories.  I only wear lashes on special occasions, so I really don't have that many.

House of Lashes: both of the pink cases, LE Tinkerbell lash glue, LE Tinkerbell lashes in Forever Tink, (in case top-bottom) Hollywood Glam, Femme Fatale, and Le Mystere.

Pur Cosmetics: Pro Eyelashes in the style Bombshell

Huda Beauty: Samantha #7

Kiss: both of the pink tools inside the cases and lashes in styles 01 and 03.

Misc.: (top-bottom) I honestly do not remember where the lashes with the glitter band are from or the style name (sorry!), Katy Perry by Eyelure in the style Oh, My!, and I don't remember the name of the pink ones but I bought them from Sephora years ago.

That's if for me for lashes.  I need to practice applying them so I can wear them more often.  Any tips you have for applying false lashes perfectly would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a good week.

Sephora Haul

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been so far?

I placed an order online through Sephora a little while ago, and I wanted to share with you everything that I got.  I was just browsing through my "loves" list trying to decide what items to order, and I noticed that the KVD lipstick trio was suddenly in stock.  So, of course, I had to snatch it up as quickly as I could!  I've also been wanting something from the Moschino collection since I wasn't able to purchase anything from that line when they first came out.  I decided on the eyeshadow palette because it's freaking adorable.

Kat Von D Beauty Best of Studded Kiss Lipstick Trio
Okay, the original price for this set is $60.00, but I got it on sale for $36.00!  Individually, KVD lipsticks cost $21.00 each (the lipsticks with the old formula have been marked down to $12.00 each), so it was definitely a bargain.  The three shades are the most loved shades from Kat's line: Underage Red, Lolita, and Vampira.  I had been wanting the shades Underage Red and Vampira for ages and, of course, Lolita is a staple shade for everyone, so I figured I couldn't pass this set up.

Sephora Collection x Moschino Bear Eyeshadow Palette
Like I said earlier, I adored everything from this collection but I wasn't able to pick up anything when it first launched.  By some miracle, every item in the collection came back in stock on Sephora's website last month!  I know the packaging is incredibly bulky and not great for travel or storage, but I don't mind at all.

That's everything I picked out!  Do you have any of these products?  What are your thoughts on them?

I hope you have a great weekend.  Thanks for stopping by!

My Makeup Collection 2018: Blush

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

I have all of my blushes to show you for this week's MMC.  I always say that I'm not much of a blush person, so how I own this many blushes is beyond me.

My Makeup Collection 2018: Mascara

Hello, everyone!  I hope you're all enjoying a nice three day weekend.  The kids I watch don't have school today, so I thought it was going to be a regular work day for me, but their dad ended up getting the day off too.  Hooray for an unexpected day off!  :)

Anyway, I recently remembered doing a series here on my blog where I went through my makeup collection and show you everything I own in categories.  I thought it would be fun to do it again since that was two years ago and my collection has grown a bit since then.  I'm nosey and I love to see other people's makeup collections and I know there are many other nosey people just like me out there!  There's no particular rhyme or reason for the order that I'll be posting each category, so I decided to start out with mascara.

Full size:
Givenchy Beauty Noir Interdit, L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black, Touch In Sol Stretchex, and Tarte Tarteist.

Deluxe sample size:
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes, Dior Diorshow, Marc Jacobs O! Mega Lash, Clinique High Impact, Smashbox X-Rated, Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye, Tarte Lifted (brown), Nars Audacious, Benefit Roller Lash, and Lancome Monsieur Big.

Needless to say, I'm probably never going to run out of mascara.  If I'm not getting them free with purchase or in a kit, I'm constantly receiving them from my sister from her Ipsy Glam Bags.

What are some of your favorite mascaras?  Let me know in the comments!

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you have a great week.

2018 Project Empty Challenge

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

I'm doing the Project Empty challenge again this year and I want to show you what I hope to use up.  I have a few products from last year that I wasn't able to finish off in time, so I'm adding them to this year's challenge.

2017 Products (Back-front, left-right)
Victoria's Secret Sexy Little Things body spray, Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Split End Mender, Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave In Conditioner, Organix Coconut Milk Anti-Break Serum, First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Purifying Mask, FAB Ultra Repair Hydra Firm Night Cream, FAB Ultra Repair Cream, Bare Minerals Mineral Veil and Matte loose powder foundation, Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer, Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me & Peach Kiss, Maybelline Color Whispers in Coral Ambition, NYC Appleicious lip balm in Garnet Gala, L'Oreal Nude Balm in Heavenly Berry, Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey, Revlon lip butter in Red Velvet, Seraphine Botanicals Guava Butter cream blush, Hanalei Sugar Lip Scrub, Revlon powder blush in Blushing Berry, and Jonathan Create Smooth Anti-Frizz Volumizing Serum.

Skincare
St. Ives Blackhead Clearing Green Tea Scrub, Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion Scrub, ELF Hydrating Bubble Mask, First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration (Vanilla Citron), and Beauty For Real Lip Revival Scrub

I don't have a whole lot of extra skincare items left (mostly just deluxe samples and some face masks), so these are all of the full size products that I have left that need to be used soon.

Body Lotion/Body Spray
Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Spray and St. Tropez Instant Glow Body Lotion

Once I use up this body spray and the VS spray that I wanted to use up last year, all of my older body sprays will be gone!

Haircare
Dove Style + Care Hairspray and Batiste Floral & Flirty Blush Dry Shampoo

I really don't use many hair products, but for some reason I have a ton of them.  I had 8 items that I wanted to use up for last year's Project Empty challenge, but I only got around to using almost half of them (as you would have seen if you checked my last post).  lol  So to add on to what I didn't finish last year, I'm only including (another!) hair spray and a dry shampoo.  I don't usually have an issue finishing off a dry shampoo, but I typically use a tinted one since my hair is dark and this one is white so its been sitting in a cupboard for quite a while.

Makeup
Project Beauty Spray. Set. Go. Setting Spray, ELF Mineral Infused Face Primer, Wet N Wild Photofocus Foundation, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, Pur-lisse BB Cream, Givenchy Noir Interdit black mascara, Touch In Sol Stretchex black mascara, Tarte Lifted brown mascara, Winky Lux eyebrow pencil, Stila Stay All Day black liquid eyeliner, Sephora Contour Eye Pencil in Black Lace, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Stag, NYX Cosmetics Powder Black Liner, Almay Intense i-Color brown liquid eyeliner, MILK Makeup liquid highlight (it came in a rollerball style packaging but I transferred it to this little plastic pot because the rollerball was the worst), Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee, and Be A Bombshell Smooth Criminal Translucent Powder.

That's everything that I hope to use up this year.  I think this may be my last year of Project Empty.  I've used up so much of the stuff that I've been hoarding for years!  I mainly wanted to do this challenge to use up some of my much older products (specifically makeup, body sprays, and body lotions), and after this year I'll have done just that.

I hope you have a good week.  Thank you for stopping by!

2017 Project Empty Challenge Results

Hello, everyone! How has your week been so far?

It's that time again when I share with you the results of my project empty challenge.  Included in this post are the few remaining products that I wasn't able to finish off in time for 2016 but did finish off in January, so I added them to my 2017 challenge.  I originally wanted to include my thoughts on each product, but this post is going to be so long already.  If you have any questions or want to know about a certain product feel free to ask me about it in the comments!

Products I Wanted to Use Up in 2016:

2017 Empties:

That's everything I was able to use up during this year's challenge.  I know some of the liners still have a little bit left in them, but I'm considering them done.  The pencils are so short now that they're hard to hold on to.   The NYX black gel liner also has some left, but it's drying out.  I've had to add liquid to it lately just to use it so I'm counting it as done.

I have some products that I wasn't able to use up last year, so I'll be adding them to this year's challenge.  I think I was a little too ambitious last year because I have quite a lot that I didn't finish off in time. lol

Body spray/skincare
VS Sexy Little Things body spray, FAB Skin Rescue Purifying Mask, FAB Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream, FAB Ultra Repair Cream, and Hanalei Sugar Lip Scrub.

Hair care
Jonathan Create Smooth Anti-Frizz Volumizing Serum, Organix Coconut Milk Anti-Break Serum, Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Split End Mender, and Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave-In Conditioner.

Makeup
NYC Appleicious lip balm in Garnet Gala, NARS lip pencils in Cruella and Rikugien, Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey, Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me and Peach Kiss, Revlon lip butter in Red Velvet, L'Oreal Nude Balm in Heavenly Berry, Maybelline Color Whisper in Coral Ambition, Seraphine Botanicals Guava Butter cream blush, Benefit Cosmetics Watts Up cream highlighter, Revlon blush in Blushing Berry, Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer, Bare Minerals Mineral Veil, and Bare Minerals Matte powder foundation in Golden Fair.

I also have a few products that I decided to cut from last year's list because I haven't used these products ONCE and I'll probably end up just giving them away: B&BW Japanese Cherry Blossom body spray (I'm actually adding this to my 2018 PEC), VS Heavenly body spray, Jonathan Dirt texturizing paste, Lime Crime loose pigments, The Balm single shadow in Fit (square shadow), and the two Almay Intense i-Color trios (rectangle shadows).  As you can see, I no longer actually have the trios just the brown shade from each palette.  The other two shadows in both palettes were blue shades, and I rarely every wear blue eyeshadow, so I depotted the brown shades and tossed the blue ones.

What are some products that you want to use up this year?

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!
