Winter Empties - 2020

Hello, everyone!  Happy Spring!

I have my winter empties for you today.  Again, it's all skincare products.  I just don't wear makeup enough these days to use up an entire product.  *shrugs*

Anyway, here's everything I used up over the last three months.

Bolero Coconut Oil & Sea Salt Paper Facial Mask
This felt nice while I was wearing it, but I didn't notice any difference in my skin afterward.

Soap & Glory Radiance-Boosting Mask
I really liked this mask!  My skin looked amazing after I used this.  My face looked hydrated and brighter than before.  I'll definitely use this mask again!

Lancome Advanced Genifique Hydrogel Melting Mask
This mask was very hydrating too, but I prefer the Soap & Glory mask (it's also a lot cheaper!).

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator
I love this scrub.  I repurchase it any chance I get.

Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser
This was nice, but I don't feel like it's worth its price.  I can get the same clean feeling with cleansers that cost a lot less.

Tula Dual-Phase Skin Reviving Treatment Pad
This was interesting!  One side of the pad has little exfoliating bits and the other side scrubs the granuals over the skin.  My skin felt incredible after using this!  I was given two of these and I need to find out where they're sold so I can pick up some more.

Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner
You've all seen this before.  It's good.  I repurchase it constantly.

That's everything I was able to use up!  Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a great weekend!

Beauty Haul

Hello, everybody!  How was your holiday?  We celebrated 3 times...we had Christmas Eve at David's sister's house, then Christmas morning with my family at our house, then Christmas dinner with more of David's family at his grandparents' house.  Poor baby Noah was exhausted after so much activity!

Anyway, here are some products that I either received for Christmas or purchased myself recently.

Fenty Beauty Moroccan Spice eyeshadow palette
This one I purchased myself while it was on sale.  It's gorgeous and I can't wait to play around with it!

Ahava Dead Sea Water Mineral Hand Cream
This was a gift from my sister-in-law.  We both love this hand lotion, so she picked one up for me.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown
For David's side of the family we did a Secret Santa exchange instead of buying gifts for everyone, and David ended up drawing my name. He's not very good at hiding things, so I came across my name and list of things I liked on his desk.  (I wasn't snooping, it was laying out in plain sight. lol!)  The brow pencil and two sheet masks are from him.  Did I happen to mention to him that I just finished off my favorite beauty product and tell him the exact shade I needed?  Mayyyybe...

Tony Moly I'm Red Wine Mask Sheet

Tony Moly I'm Charcoal Mask Sheet

Soap & Glory Scent-sational Indulgence Box
This was a gift from David's boss and his boss's girlfriend.  I'm super excited about this because I've been meaning to purchase products from this brand but I always forget to.  I can't wait for a pamper day!

Dr. Teal's Relax & Relief Set
One of the gifts from my mom was this bath set.  I love baths and soaking my feet in Epsom salt so this is perfect for me!

That's everything I received/bought that's beauty related!  What are some of your favorite gifts this year?

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a great weekend!

Sephora Haul!

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

As the title says, I have a Sephora haul to share with you.  Since becoming a mother, I haven't had time to keep up with new makeup releases.  I usually see what's coming up by watching beauty YouTubers, but I'm so far behind on videos.  Seriously, like, 5 months behind.  *Who has time to watch dozens of 40+ minute videos?!*  So I just browsed through the Sephora website for a while and decided on a few items.  Here's what I chose:

Kat Von D Beauty Saint perfume
These two perfumes were on sale and I ordered them during the VIB sale!

Kat Von D Beauty Sinner perfume

Invisibobble Slim in Clear
I've heard great things about these hair ties.  So far, they haven't pulled out any hair when I take them out!

Natasha Denona Mini Lila Palette
I've never tried this brand before since everything is so expensive, but this was on sale (plus an extra 15% off...woohoo!)

Kat Von D Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Swoon
I randomly came across this on the Sephora site and it's beautiful!  This picture doesn't do it justice.  It is so sparkly and gorgeous.

Lancome Monsieur Big 12 Shades of Love palette
I just thought this palette was so cute, and I don't think I've tried any shadows from Lancome before.  Again, this was on sale plus I used my 15% off.  The shadows aren't crazy pigmented (most of these swatches I had go over a second time), but they build up nicely and would be great for a beginner.

Big Crush quad

Big Date quad

Big Night quad

Moschino x Sephora Moschino Toy Honey Mask

Sephora Favorites Superstars Set
I usually purchase this holiday set each year, but I wasn't going to purchase this one this year.  However, it went on sale so I decided to pick it up anyway. lol

That's everything I picked up from Sephora!  What did you purchase during the VIB sale?

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving!

Summer Empties - 2019

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

Unfortunately, I don't have too many items to show you this season.  I'm a new mom (baby Noah just turned 5 months old today!) so I've been pretty busy and just haven't had the time to use many products.  Anyway, here are the few products that I was able to use up over the summer.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

Glamglow Bubblesheet Mask

And that's really all I used up.  lol

Thanks for stopping by and reading my super short post, and I hope you have a great week!

Sephora Haul!

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been so far?  My husband and I are leaving early tomorrow morning to visit my family in Washington.  This will be our son's first time out of state.  It's a 3 1/2 - 4 hour drive if we go non stop (like we usually do), but obviously we can't do that this time with a 3 month old.  Any tips and advice for traveling with an infant would be SO appreciated!  We plan on taking pit stops every hour to hour and a half, but I'm hoping that spending so much time in the car won't make him super grumpy.

Anyway, getting back to the point of this post...I was originally only looking for new tweezers on Sephora's website (I lost my favorite pair from Sephora at the hospital when I gave birth and I couldn't find them on their website! *cries*), but then this happened.  lol

Tweezerman Stainless Steel Slant Tweezer in Red
I cannot believe I spent over $20.00 on a pair of tweezers.  I have a cheap pair from Revlon, but they suck.  I tried looking for others at the drugstore but there really aren't that many, and they all looked like they'd just cut the hairs.  So here we are.  These better be amazing.

Saturday Skin Cotton Cloud Probiotic Power Mask
I've never tried anything from this brand yet and this mask sounded interesting.

Kat Von D Beauty Alchemist Holographic Palette
I've been wanting this since it first launched, but I didn't want to spend $32.00 on a palette with shades that I couldn't use for everyday.  However, I saw that it was on sale for only $16.00, and I can live with that price.  Haha!

Ciate London x Jessica Rabbit Collection Glitter Storm Metallic Glitter Lipstick
(I already have one of these but I NEEDED a back up lol)

Jouer Long-Wear Lip Topper in St. Tropez

Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Thicc
I used 100 points for this.  I've been wanting to try this line of lipsticks for a while now, but I like to get free samples of matte lip products because I already have dry lips and I don't want to make them worse.

That's everything I picked up recently!

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
