Summer Empties & Review - 2023

Hello, everybody! How was your summer? Can you believe it's autumn already??

Once again, most of my empties this time around are skincare items. I just don't wear makeup as often as I used to. I have to wake up at 3:30 in the morning for work, and I do not have it in me to wake up earlier than that just to apply some makeup. These posts are going to consist mainly of skincare for some time. So without further ado, here are all the products I used up during these last few months.

SK-II Facial Treatment Essence

I like this essence so much more than the Lancome essence! This actually feels like it's hydrating my skin. It is crazy expensive though, so I think I'll settle with picking up free samples when I can.

Neutrogena All-In-1 Acne Control Daily Scrub

This was fine. I didn't really notice any change in my skin while using this though.

Ouai St. Barts Body Cleanser

This smells very nice, and made my skin feel clean. I can't see myself spending $28 on a body wash though.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes

These are fine, and do what I need them to do. I just hate how they make my skin feel oily after using.

Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream

This is the second deluxe sample of this moisturizer that I've used recently. It's very thick, but sinks into the skin nicely. My skin looked soft when I used this. I'm just still stuck on my FAB moisturizer though. So far, nothing has topped it for me.

Bath & Body Works Pink Pineapple Sunrise Hand Cream

This was nice! My hands felt soft and hydrated after using this. The scent was nice, if a bit strong. The formula is great though!

Tony Moly I'm Honey Mask Sheet

I love Tony Moly face masks. This one was super hydrating and made my skin feel amazing! I'll definitely be purchasing this one again!

Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Fine Fragrance Mist

You guys!! This is it! This is my final body spray! I've officially used all my body sprays up! I can't tell you how happy this makes me. I had soooo many that I bought and then left in a drawer and forgot about. Now I just have my "nicer" perfumes to start using.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

I've used this product for a long time now, and I really like it. It keeps my makeup lasting all day and looking amazing.

That's everything I used up this time! I hope you have a fantastic week, and thank you so much for stopping by!

Beauty Haul

Hello, everybody! How was your weekend? My birthday was last Monday. Unfortunately, I had to work. However, I did get off at 1:30, so I still had the rest of the day to enjoy with my family.

I can't believe it's summer already! This year is flying by. What are your favorite beauty products to use during the summer? Anyway, here are the beauty products I've picked up and received recently.

Verb Ghost Hair Mask

I saw this on sale on Sephora's website for $10, and since I already have the shampoo and conditioner in this line I figured I'd try it out.

Sol De Janiero Bom Dia Bright Cream

This was a freebie with my Sephora order. I've tried their Bum Bum Cream, but the scent is just too strong for me. Hopefully, this is better!

Danessa Myricks Beauty Infinite Chrome Flakes in Strobe Light

I'm kinda bummed that I spent $25 on this teeny, tiny jar. I thought it was going to be bigger. Here's hoping that it's amazing and makes up for the cost.

Si Passione Eclat Eau De Parfum by Giorgio Armani

I received this complimentary from BzzAgent for review. I love the red bottle because red is my favorite color. I like the scent, but it is a little bit more mature smelling for me. It's not bad, but it isn't something I would go out and purchase either.

These next few items were gifts for my birthday.

Heatless curlers

These are from Amazon, and I am so excited to try these out! I saw someone on Tik Tok use these and the curls are beautiful.

ILNP Nail Polishes in Rainshower and Fairy Floss

I love this brand of nail polish. Their holographic polishes are to die for. I'm so glad I get to add these to my collection.

Sigma x Samantha Ravndahl Brush Set

Can you believe I've never purchased a Sigma brush before? I don't know why, but they just never interested me. Then Samantha had to go and create a brush set with them and here I am with my first Sigma brushes.

Practk by Sigma Liner Brush

I don't really have anything to say about this one, but the handle is pretty cute.

Sigma Disney Princess Cinderella Lip Duo in Magical Lip Gloss and Dreamy Liquid Lipstick

These are beautiful lip colors that look amazing together!

 Sigma F28 Powder/Bronzer Brush

I've heard great things about this brush, so I'm kinda excited to use it.

Tula Skincare 24/7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night Cream

This was my free birthday gift from Ulta this year.

I ordered a few things from Sephora (again, I know) and scored some freebie there too!

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fu$$y

I had to double check that this wasn't the exact same shade as Fenty Glow. They are very similar, but this gloss is pink toned while Fenty Glow has a brown tone. I for sure thought they were the same color at first though!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Sarafine

Can you also believe that I've never purchased an ABH liquid lipstick before? Lol, idk why but I just never got around to it. I love a blue toned red, so I decided to get this shade.

SK-II Pitera Facial Treatment Essence

This was a free offer with purchase. I've used this before and really like it, but the full size bottle is just so expensive.

Tatcha Trio

This was the free birthday gift I chose from Sephora this year.

That's all for now! Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Influenster SK-II Voxbox Product Review: First Impressions

Hello, everyone!  I hope you've had a great week so far!

I was very excited when I found out that I would be receiving this Influenster voxbox to review.  I've always wanted to try SK-II products but they're insanely expensive.  In this box I received a 1 oz. bottle of the Facial Treatment Essence and one Facial Treatment Mask to test and review.  At Sephora, the Facial Treatment Essence retails for $99 for 2.5 oz of product and the Facial Treatment Mask retails for $17 for one mask.  To use the FTE, you shake a few drops into the palm of your hand and pat your hands together to warm up the liquid then you press the essence into your skin after cleansing and toning.

I don't feel as though I've been using the FTE long enough to give it a complete review just yet because I've only been using it for one week, but so far it hasn't broken me out and my redness is a bit less red.  I have really high hopes for this product, and I'm excited to see if my redness continues to calm down.  I plan to continue using the FTE and I'll come back and update later on.  The mask was a nice, thick cotton sheet mask that was just the right size instead of being huge and getting in my hair. After using the mask my face felt very hydrated and refreshed.

Here's a ridiculous photo of me wearing the Facial Treatment Mask.  The quality and lighting aren't good because I took this photo in the evening with my iPhone.

Have you tried these or any other SK-II products before?  What are your thoughts?

Thank you for stopping by and have a great weekend!

*These products were sent to me complimentary from Influenster for testing and review purposes but all opinions are my own.* #myessence #skii
