Hello, everyone! How was your weekend?
As I'm sure you know, I'm a member of Influenster and sometimes receive products for free to test and review. I have to say, Influenster has sent out some amazing products over this past year...Keurigs, YSL, Marc Jacobs, etc. I can't wait to find out what all they're sending out this year!
Today I have my Influenster YSL Voxbox to review for you. This time I received one
of YSL's new Touche Eclat Neutralizers in the shade Green. There are three
shades available: Bisque, Green, and Violet. They each cancel and neutralize different skin imperfections. Bisque corrects dark circles/dark spots and helps to illuminate the skin. Green covers blemishes and corrects redness for an even skin tone. Violet corrects yellow/dull skin for healthy looking skin. These retail for $38 each.
When I went to get the product out, I tried twisting the bottom (like you would a lip gloss in this type of packaging), but you actually push the black button on the bottom. The only problem I have with this is that not a lot of product comes out. I had to pump about a dozen times to finally get some product out of it. When I applied this to my face I really had to work at it to get it blended out. It dried pretty quickly so I had a bit of trouble with it. As far as concealing redness, it covered up the small areas just fine, but with the larger areas I could still see some redness showing through my foundation. I used a damp makeup sponge for this, so next time I'll try a regular foundation brush and see if that makes any difference. As far as packaging goes, the packaging itself is really nice. It's metal with the YSL logo on the top (so cute).
Have you tried any of these neutralizers? What are your thoughts on them?
I hope you have a great week. Thank you for stopping by!
*I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own.*
