Hello, everyone! How was your weekend?
I wanted to give a little shout out to some of my favorite beauty products from the past year. I have quite a few so let's just jump into it!
First up are two products from First Aid Beauty. Their Face Cleanser and their Ultra Repair Cream. I've said a few times before that the Ultra Repair Cream saved my face. My face was so dry and flaky, but this stuff cleared all of that up. I also really like the Face Cleanser because it leaves my skin feeling so clean without leaving behind any soapy residue or drying my skin out.
Next up is the YSL Effet Faux Cils mascara. This mascara gave my lashes the length and volume that I wanted. As an added bonus, it also has a nice scent to it.
Urban Decay came out with their Naked Smoky palette last year and it's amazing. It's everything I hoped the Naked 2 would've been. I like the Naked 2, but I think I'll use this Smoky palette much more often then the 2 palette.
Kat Von D also came out with another eyeshadow palette. Its 12 neutral, matte shades are so pigmented and smooth and are perfect for everyday looks or dramatic looks.
I only started using the Batiste dry shampoo last year, and I'm so glad I finally gave in to the hype. My favorite one is the tinted dry shampoo for dark brown hair.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz pencil is another favorite from last year. The Medium Ash/Brown shade matches my brow hair perfectly and is so easy to use.
The Becca Cosmetics and Jaclyn Hill collaboration is definitely one of my favorites. The Champagne Pop pressed highlighter is divine. It is seriously so stunning and looks amazing on so many different skin tones.
I tried out the Stila Cosmetics Stay All Day black liquid eyeliner this past year. It's not as matte as I'd like it to be, but it's easy to use and it actually does last all day long.
I have another highlight favorite: the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in the shade 01. This product is absolutely not matte. Idk why it has "matte" in the name, but it is shimmery highlight perfection.
I've always been a fan of the movie Edward Scissorhands, and Sugarpill came out with a limited edition 25th anniversary palette for the movie. As a fan of the movie, I HAVE to include this palette in my favorites!
Finally, I have the Starscape blush from the Nars and Christopher Kane collaboration. It looks a little scary in the pan, but if you're light handed with it, it's absolutely beautiful.
That's all my favorite products from 2015! What are some of yours?
Thanks for stopping by!
