Winter Empties - 2018

Hello, everybody!  How has your week been so far?

This year I've decided to do seasonal "empties" posts rather than monthly posts.  I usually don't go through many products, so my monthly posts contained about 3 products in each.  I figured seasonal empties would work better for me as they would have more products so they wouldn't seem like a "waste of time".  (Hopefully that makes sense.)  Anyway, here are the products that I used up through the Winter that aren't a part of my Project Empty challenge.

SpaLife Pore Clarifying Activated Charcoal Facial Mask
I really liked this mask!  My face felt so soft and smooth afterward.  I would purchase this again.

Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing Body Lotion
I won't be repurchasing this body lotion anymore.  I've used this constantly over the past couple of years, but I decided recently to try something new.  This feels hydrating for a while, but it doesn't last.  Within a few hours my skin would feel and look dry again.  I started using a body lotion from Aveeno and my skin has never felt better.

Urban Dollkiss Face Mask
This mask was very hydrating!  My skin looked incredibly radiant and youthful afterward.  I would absolutely purchase this again.

Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic
I really liked this.  I think I'm going to switch from my current toner (Sea Breeze) to this one.  My skin felt so nice after using this.  I didn't pay attention to the ingredients in the Sea Breeze toner, and I was wondering why my face was becoming so dry and flaky.  It turns out that alcohol denat. is the second ingredient, and that's why my face has been drying out.  This toner make my skin feel hydrated and soft and didn't dry me out.

Hey Honey Open Your Eyes Eye Contour Lifting Fluid
I didn't notice any tightening or lifting of the eye area after using this.  It felt nice under my eyes and didn't irritate me in any way, but I don't think I'll purchase a full size of this.

Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm in Natural Mint
There's a bit left in the end of the tube, but it's so hard to get it out without cutting the tube in half.  Honestly, I may just end up cutting it because I really like this lip balm.  I enjoy the minty flavor and it actually made my lips feel softer and hydrated.  I use a ton of lip balm, and this one is definitely one of my favorites (that I've tried so far).

Those are all of the products that I used up recently.  Have you tried any of these products?  What are your thoughts on them?

I hope this was in some way helpful.  Thanks for stopping by!

My Makeup Collection 2018: Lipgloss

Hello, everybody!  How was your weekend?  I, like most people, do not enjoying losing an hour of sleep, but the weather has been beautiful so I can overlook it.

Today's MMC is all about lipgloss.  I recently went through and threw out some old glosses, but I still have quite a few considering I don't particularly like lipgloss.  I love how it looks, but I don't enjoy the feel of them on my lips or when they get onto my face and in my hair.

Let's briefly address the obvious first.  I know most people prefer the clean look of bright white backgrounds, but I'm quite bored of them now.  It seems like most product photos that I come across have a white (or at least fairly light) background and they all start to blend into one another, so I want to try something different for a bit.  My favorite color is red, so I thought I'd try a red background for a while to see how that goes.  Let me know what you think in the comments!

NARS: Pink Glow, Mezmer, Orgasm, and Turkish Delight

Urban Decay: Sesso

MAC: Twerkquoise, Saint Germain, Sweet Strawberry, Viva Glam 6, Seducing Sound, Viva Glam Miley, Viva Glam Riri, and Domestic Diva

Minis: Bite Beauty, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind, and Make Up For Ever

Those are all of my lipglosses!  What is your favorite lipgloss formula?

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a fantastic week!

Influenster L'Oreal Paris Cica Voxbox Product Review

Hello, everyone!  How has your week been so far?

I recently was sent the new L'Oreal Revitalift Cicacream from Influenster for review, and I wanted to share my thoughts on it with you.  This anti-wrinkle cream is gentle on sensitive skin as well as fragrance free, paraben free, alcohol free, dye free, and dermatologist & allergy tested.  Cicacream is designed to strengthen the skin barrier to protect the skin from pollutants and resist the signs of aging, fight wrinkles, hydrate, and firm the skin.  Centella Asiatica (also known as Tiger Grass) is an herbal medicine with the ability to aid in healing.  Tigers are known to roll in this plant to heal their wounds, hence it's nickname.  L'Oreal recommends using this cream in the morning and evening after cleansing and before moisturizer.  This cream is quite thick but doesn't feel greasy on the skin.  I haven't noticed any difference in my fine lines, but my skin feels hydrated after using this so far.  I'll continue to apply this everyday and will report back about any changes after a couple more weeks.

Have you tried anything from this line?  What are your thoughts?

I hope you have a great weekend, and thank you for stopping by!

*I received this product complimentary from Influenster for reviewing purposes, but all opinions are my own.*

My Makeup Collection 2018: Brow Products

Hello, everyone!  How was your weekend?

I have all of my brow products to show you for this week's MMC.  It isn't an exciting post since I currently only have two brow pencils and two clear brow gels.  I don't really see the point in having a ton of brow products when I already know what I like/what works best for me.  I do have a brown powder that I occasionally use, but it isn't a "brow" powder it's just a shadow in a NYX palette.

Brow Pencils: Winky Lux Uni-Brow and Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Medium Brown

Clear Brow Gel: The BrowGal by Tonya Crooks and Anastasia Beverly Hills

What are some of your favorite brow products?

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a great week!
